i really really like character + media analysis and park min-gi . i adore the entire series but unfortunately min is like the ugly worm that lives in my brain soils.... what can i say. his neuroses enthrall me! other interests of mine include anything ecology or biology (i particularly love fish and microbial life! i 💚 living things), microscopy, language and linguistics, cartoons in general, and invader zim (my other parasite. irken x kid go away i don't like you guys). many more listed in my site if you want to compare...! URGENT: Hospital eviction imminent

Maha has been hospitalized due to serious complications from an infected tooth. She is particularly vulnerable to this type of infection, which almost killed her last year. Thankfully her husband has returned from Egypt, but both he and Maha are unable to work and thus cannot pay for her hospital bills. They are over $1,500 usd in debt for her treatment and Maha is about to be kicked out of the hospital.

As I said, last year a very similar infection almost took Maha’s life. If she is expelled from the hospital, a worsened infection is an inevitability. She still has a high fever and needs to remain hospitalized. PLEASE help her continue life-saving treatment!!

#seriously grates on me so so badly that the show barely gets talked about anymore #and of the discussion i do see take place #a significant portion is b4 getting trashed #i understand criticism to a certain extent but the negativity is so disproportionate #to actual discussion/commentary of the season #this is definitely influenced by my “book 4 is my favorite thing ever ever ever" bias #but people refusing to look deeper into the season beyond it being the final one (for now).... come on now #the theming and the messaging of the season is something i haven't seen approached in such a direct and nuanced way anywhere else #like the way they seamlessly incorporated the asian childhood experience? the way they so tactfully handled #racism and the lasting effects it has on how you perceive the outside world and your place in it? the way they portrayed a terse #lifelong friendship that is on the brink of destruction because both parties are too afraid to communicate?#seriously tense relationships are SO hard to write and imo the build-up and pay-off within the season is masterfully executed #i truly think that the character work in this season is some of the best across the series. and i do not say that lightly given that #infinity train is basically “character writing masterclass: the series”#i wish that people would stop resenting book 4 for being the unwitting final season and actually give it a chance on its own merits #it is criminally underrated! infinity train crew never misses and that pattern follows through to book 4! give it a chance!!!#like i'm also sad we didn't get the amelia movie. but there is hope! and in the meantime we have four fantastic seasons to sit and dissect #book 4 included. it gives really good pre-amelia train exposition. the glimpses we saw into the machinations of the train before her were s #cool! and the implications for the train itself were rounded out so well by this! this is the first time we see the train before one #was ousted. that gives suuuch important insight into the train itself! like even if you don't care for the protagonists there is still #significant lore material in book 4. “dissect me” -book 4 #whatever man. everyone be nice to ryan min and kez forever and ever or i will begin to cough and seethe ok?#zaytouns text walls

Somehow Ayla incurred a small injury to her finger and it became severely infected due to the sanitation crisis. Your support helped her mother be able to pay for her treatment, but her immune system is still compromised due to malnutrition.
