probably a controversial headcanon considering the interpretations of every CPPS, but....

what if?

what if dj maxx was actually just pretransition cadence?

think about it.

my evidence:

- dj maxx never showed up in club penguin. he was an npc from penguin chat 3.

- instead, we got cadence, a couple years later.

- they look similar. look at them. tell me that's not the same person some years apart.

- club penguins can change their feather color anytime. going from red to peach is not very drastic, anyway.

- again, not counting every CPPS that likes to bring him back as a separate character... these two were never actually in the same room together. because dj maxx did not exist in club penguin.

- cadence took his place. they fill pretty much the same role.

- cadence is much happier and more active than dj maxx, who just stood in one spot DJ-ing. she's clearly thriving now.

- cadence is a very deliberate name. k-dance. cadence itself being a music term. either way it's very thematic and she 100% chose it.

- meanwhile, "dj maxx" just feels a little more... lazy? like she just took her deadname and maybe added on an X like 'whatever, i guess that's my dj name?' before the egg cracked.

- penguin chat 3 ended in 2005. cadence first showed herself in the newspaper in 2008. that's plenty of time to change like this.

so anyway cadence is a trans girl. to me.

my blog is 100% turning into a club penguin fan blog atp but it's okay cos i love the game so idc!! anyways, here is a track i made that is operation blackout themed. this is from the angle that herbert won his war against the island and succeeded with his evil plans !! so i'd imagine this playing as a last stand sorta track. before the game auto logs you off and shuts down, one last time. I defo want to explore this more and migt make some artwork based around this concept of herbert winning. what would be the repurcussions of this? would the EPF still be captive and what would herbert do with them if so? all very fun things to think about !!
