After much deliberation I have decided to leave these two beautiful ferns in peace to grow next door to my just planted out parsnips. I’ve never grown these guys before so I’m a little dubious. Fingers crossed!!

04.06.16 Spinach, little gem lettuce and Scarole sown and squashes planted out into vegetable patch. Thugs are coming together nicely!

03.06.16 Finally finished turning and de-weeding the vegetable patch!! Also I planted out my dwarf French beans and the beautiful pumpkin plant I bought.

28.05.16 I had quite a productive afternoon planting out these baby round carrots, little gem lettuce and cabbage plants.

The patch is really starting to take shape now that I got these guys in the ground.

I found this little chap in my vegetable patch and decided to pot him up and bring him in to meet the gang.

I made a start on the vegetable patch finally today and am officially knackered!

I also got a little excited and started making a natural fence of sorts around the outside using logs from the garden. This is the largest that I've had the vege patch and I'm determined for it to be the most successful yet. Watch this space...
