when people are asked what advice they'd give their younger self it's usually like "don't waste your life worrying!" or "it will all be okay" or "there's so much to live for" (or "invest in bitcoin") and that's fine but me personally i would want actionable advice. if an older version of myself showed up in a dream and gave me some vague positive bullshit like "it gets better" i'd be so pissed off. that's a waste of a perfectly good prophetic vision. right now if i could tell my younger self anything i would tell him that getting some nice wide-leg or baggy or relaxed-straight jeans would help his dysphoria so much

#i'd tell myself to get high waisted bootcuts and some cowboy boots with decent heels on them...#low waist pants make your hips stand out too much and the heels make you a bit taller and they go clik clak so it's awesome #and then of course just give past me the name i came up with way later to save some time #and to stop the misanthropic bullshit because it's not a given it's just a self destructive defense mechanism
