Last year in 2025, Magic The Gathering partnered with Final Fantasy to create incredibly beautiful cards, and to revive iconic characters and moments from the 16 episodes of the series.

Personally, I don't know anything about the rules of Magic, but I’ve always found the cards stunning; and since I love collecting things, I couldn't resist the temptation…

At first, I told myself I’d only get the cards featuring Rufus, the Turks, and Shinra, then the ones from FFVII; but in the end, I got all the ones I liked from each game 😅​

Since my blog is primarily dedicated to Rufus and the Turks, I wanted to focus on those cards here.

Something I've been meaning to draw from the second I read it (I'm so normal about the jam scene I swear asjdjks) anyway here's some fanart for one of my all time favourite levihan stories- Right as rain by @this-is-krikkit or @/imnotstubborn on ao3! It's also one of the first levihan fics I ever read and I still think about it and how it made me wanna throw my phone into a wall (/affectionate). It also has great characterisation of enby Hange and how it affects their relationships! The relationship dynamics and the way they develop over time in this fic are delicious btw😩 So go read if you haven't! :D Thanks for writing banger after banger Kit fr the fandom would not be the same without you<3

most of AOT watchers realize how Hange seems less cheerful and less of a "mad scientist" after Erwin's death, where they have to assume the role of the commander of the SC. and i think, it's really sad. cause when they were just a section commander, there was less responsibility on their shoulders other than doing experiments on titans (cz far as i know, Hange squad's specialization is research), which they love and are so passionate about.

so when they bear the title of the commander, they only get less time to do something they truly love. they can't be the comic relief anymore, they have to bear expectations to be as competent and genius as Erwin was. especially, after the 'return to shiganshina' arc, they finally find out that their enemies all along arent just titans. it's the whole world.

this makes Hange's death all the more fitting to me. everybody knows their love for titans. so after years of being unable to truly dedicate their time to the creatures, and given how fitting the situation is, Hange chooses death by titans as their perfect destiny
