       He didn’t believe it for a moment- there was definitely something else going on, but... “Maybe you should try getting more sleep, Lance. Uh, I’m sure I still have some sleep aids around from when I last needed them, if it gets too bad...” No harm in going along with it, right? And if he just so happened to actually just have sleep problems, well, the problem would be solved.

       “Whatever’s going on, I’m here for you... I promise.”

There’s silence for several seconds before a snort breaks the air, laughter rising up from under the jacket. Reaching up, Lance slowly manages to manhandle the jacket enough that he could slip it onto himself. 

“Ok ok… you worry more than Hunk sometimes, you know?” he’s teasing, of course.

       Shiro chuckled back, glad that made him laugh. How he acted before was... worrying. It was nice to see him having some sort of fun. “Well, someone has to keep you guys from dying when Hunk isn’t around, y’know? Have fun!” Wherever he was going, at least.

       Shiro was having none of it, simply throwing a jacket on top of Lance’s head. “C’mon... it doesn’t hurt to bring one, just in case. Can you do it for me?” Couldn’t blame the man for being worried- he just didn’t want Lance to get hurt, was all.
