The Golden Prince

I just want to say thank you to everyone who made flower suggestions for Fili, Oin, Bifur and Nori.  I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with all the different flowers but then I realized they’d all look so beautiful together. And so many of you picked purple flowers which pop beautifully in Fili’s golden mane.  I ended up using Chinese bellflower, peonies, dandelions, bluebells, buttercup, black eyed susan and lilac.

Roughly at around 5am EST (Erebor Standard Time), the citizens of the mountain nation are awaken to the same thing every morning - (well, the tune may change, but the intensity and volume never fails….) :

…Followed by random sounds that we are to assume are supposed to be guitars and drums…. 

I just really wanted to draw Fili doing something with his hair, so I did this silly drawing of Fili singing in the shower, because I like to imagine he does that. Fili’s hair.

So here he is, belting out some tune, squeezing out all the shampoo (…suggestively, I might add, which was totally not done on purpose.*) from the bottle AGAIN (Thorin is starting to get really annoyed. I imagine Durin’s use a lot of shampoo, and thus Thorin is very angry that Fili isn’t more concerned about shampoo and shampoo conserving matters.) 

I had too much fun with this one..

*Probably lying.

I’ve drawn Kili from this series, so it was time to give Fili some love.  I love drawing mythological stuff, and combining imagery is my jam. Should I colour this one?

Anyway, just a relatively quick drawing of Fili I did, just…looking at whatever, I suppose he was supposed to be in some sort of fighting stance. But anyway, I liked how he came out and decided to finish him. He actually was supposed to have something on…

…I promise. It just came out this way instead. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I just….REALLY LOVE FILI’S HAIR. o(≧∇≦o)

Anyway I did this really quick drawing of Fili one night. I wanted to use some watercolour pencils since it’s been a while, so here is a watercolour pencil Fili. I like using watercolour pencils when I want to paint, but I know I can’t paint, so watercolour pencils are a happy medium. I’m not 100% happy with it but I think it came out okay. The background is just regular watercolours tho.

The scan is really terrible tho…

I wonder what it’s like to have such pretty hair safdsaf!

I bought a load of new inks today, quite a few pearlesant and I couldn’t NOT try them on Fili and his beautiful golden hair.

I must say my thanks to @calicoskatts for the inspiration on the pose. Her Fili and his hair playing is just so amazingly sexy.

And bad quality picture because I’m staying at my mum’s and don’t have all my stuff with me. So no quality paper or brushes. I may redo this properly another time.

See, it’s not that Fili doesn’t have shirts (he doesn’t.), it’s just that he doesn’t know what they are! 

 Just a silly little doodle of Fili being really confused by a shirt, because according to myself, he has no idea what they are and never wears them. And gosh! He’s concentrating so much on his shirt prison that he BARELY can keep his pants on!

I actually like how the sketch of this turned out, hence why I’m posting it. I’m planning on colouring and finishing him, but theres something about this that I really like that I’m worried I won’t be able to keep in the finished product…

And yes, those are thigh holsters, because I have needs. Those are supposed to be knives, but they look…quite long to be knives, I suppose.Still some things I need to fix up tho!

…It should appear that Kili might have gotten stuck in a really sappy tree, or something, and now poor Fili has to, somehow, comb all that whatever-it-is out!

I know we all know that the Durin’s have beautiful hair, but I often think that Kili usually has a little bit of help maintaining that pretty little mane of his….

I thought @mayyourbeardnevergrowthin could use some smiles, so I drew a little something for you! I know it’s just a silly little doodle, but I hope it brightens your day a little! It didn’t turn out exactly how I wanted (WHAT ARE HANDS.) but I hope you like it, my friend! (≡^∇^≡)

I have no idea how Fili gets in or out of those pants. I think they might be painted on, actually. Or made out of some exotic dwarven materials the world doesn’t know about yet. 

Anyway, the whole purpose of this was actually his hair, but Fili has much to offer us all in many other ways. ٩(♡ε♡ )۶

 Anyhoo, so just a random Fili I drew that I liked, showing everyone his pretty hair altho somehow I think the focus of this picture shifted as I as drawing it. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) He was supposed to be playing with his hair or something…

The thing around his waist is supposed to be a belt, but I really honestly don’t think he needs a belt. 

My Fili’s have many many hair lengths, tee hee! (*^▽^*)
