Orion Pax came into Megatronus's life unexpectedly. He was a moment of gentle bliss in a sea of pain, and every minute they spent together felt like a balm on the Gladiator's many wounds.
It confused the larger mech, then, why his reason moved around the world unsure of the wonder he brought with his very presence. It was like the universe revolved around him, around them. When they came together... it was beautiful.
Yes, Orion was full of surprises that he was too shy to share with almost anyone. Anyone but Megatronus, of course.
One of these gifts just so happened to be Orion's lovely voice.
"Loving you is easy cause you're beautiful," Orion voiced a tune as he holds a datapad gently in his hands. Everything about him is gentle to Megatronus's battle weary eyes.
"Making love with you, is all I wanna do," the smaller mech falters a bit, but keeps the beat. They aren't his best work, but it makes Megatronus smile to see him fluster at such simplistic words.
"Loving you is more than just a dream come true, and everything that I do is out of loving you..." his voice rises as he sways, holding the datapad to his chassis, before trailing out to a soft end in an image of perfection.
Orion startles at the slow clapping coming from the doorway.
"I didn't know you were here, Megatronus," Orion fumbles through the words quickly, and the taller mech just smirks.
"And where would I be if not in my habsuite?" He teases.
"I just didn't realize it had gotten so late. I must have been, uh, absorbed with my reading," Orion quickly places the datapad down on a table, one of many scattered around the room. It seems he'd found the one full of poetry Megatronus had written about him, and the realization makes Megatronus's face melt into a smile more genuine.
"What did you think?" Orion flusters.
"I thought the pieces were... beautiful," his voice is quiet, words as thoughtful as him. Megatronus realizes what a fool he was to try and capture such complexity in writing. "What was your thought process behind them?"
"It doesn't matter now. I thought it was a bit crass at the time, and now I can see it was a subject too far out of my reach. But," Orion having wilted a bit at the words, perks up again as Megatronus presses on, "perhaps it was just in need of the right performer."
Orion looks down shyly, but Megatronus raises his head up with a gentle nudge.
"You never told me that you sing," it's an invitation. They're so close now, and Orion can feel the larger mech's warmth.
Orion leans into the hand, and it cradles his face lovingly. Hands that he knows had mere hours ago ripped other bots to shreds in the arena.
These hands that wrote beautiful words that Megatronus was too afraid to share outside of this habsuite, the very place that Orion was allowed into at any time of day regardless of whether the owner was there or not. Even when Megatronus is fighting for his right to stay in the ring he wants no part in, he welcomes Orion in with open arms. Orion crumbles at the thought.
"I liked the melody you came up with. Will you sing it for me?" Megatronus asks, waiting patiently for any answer that would come his way. Orion leans in, his face resting on the strong chest that holds so much love for him.
"Of course," he says in that gentle tone, and Megatronus's eyes slide shut as he basks in the warmth of the beauty in his world, "but only because your words are so beautiful."
it really is crazy how quickly people were willing to just let chatgpt do everything for them. i have never even tried it. brother i don't even know if it's just a website you go to or what. i do not know where chatgpt actually lives, because i can decide my own grocery list.
It took me a solid thirty seconds to realize that Phragmites was probably the genus name of the plants in the picture and not, like, an ancient Greek warrior waiting in the marshes to attack.
