ive seen people joke about how its fucked up or silly that Mr Clarke was there for Will’s coming out.

Just…lets recall that he’s Will’s favorite teacher most likely? he and the boys spent years in his class, he’s one of their mentors, and without knowing it he was instrumental in saving Will and others on several occasions.
