As days turned longer and longer. the pain has grown by a lot..., has it not? Your body has been beginning to feel even worse, has it not? Wouldn't you sat that... the pain is growing to be the same as that... ever lasting feeling of loneliness? Of knowing nobody... especially not Purson Soi, cares about you? ... And never will?
And as time goes by more and more... The drops of blood you hadn't managed to clean up correctly... from there those beautiful flowers bushes that have been in the gardens have been sprouting..., haven't they? ...Though... the flowers are not blooming yet... The bushes barely reach up yet...
And just the same... Just the same... Now... Whenever blood comes out of your mouth and nose... a few, tiny, heavenly, light blue-green petals have been accompanying the blood..., have they not...?
He looked down at the bed, hugging his knees tightly towards his chest. It's been a couple of days since he had requested a temporary leave from Student Council duties. He's been attending classes, although he sometimes had to leave mid-lecture due to his sickness.
It's lonely.. I shouldn't bother my senpais; they're busy with council work. It'll be rude of me to message them while they're on dates.
Dyer glanced at his phone next to his foot. He hasn't been talking to anyone ever since he got his "quarantine room" or messaged back to the texts he had received a while back. His upperclassmen came to check up on him from time to time and give him the assignments and notes he needed for class.
I want to talk to Johnny-senpai and Quichelight-senpai.. I haven't responded to them yet.. but they probably just pity me.
After all, I am just a Clingan.
He hugged his legs tighter to his chest before feeling that feeling at the back of his throat again. Dyer immediately hurried over as he leaned to the edge of the bed, coughing out blood before gagging out a couple of flower petals. The metallic liquid was still dripping down from his lips to the floor.
"Shit! Ough... it's hard... to breathe... a bit..." he heaved, his hand clutching his chest. He could feel something slowly coming up his throat, and his airway felt much thinner.
More blood.. this is stupid.. stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid. I have to clean the floor again. This is why you're pathetic.
The Clingan boy looked down at the ground, staring at how the blood formed just like him. He could see the wings, and his hair, and the way he seemed to fade into the floor.
"There's no way I'm letting him see me like this... he'll think I'm pathetic." He muttered to himself before slowly getting up and walking over to the restroom.
The Clingan stopped in front of the mirror, taking note of how his hair was quite disheveled and greasy, the bags under his eyes, and how he looked much thinner than last time.
When was the last time I ate properly?
He froze, now feeling the depth of his stomach before crouching down. His free hand was clutching his stomach.
I'll eat later.. clean up, then go to the cafeteria.
Walking back to the bed with a rag in hand, paused. Observing how the blood flowed just like him. He shook his head and laid the rag down to absorb the blood.
Purson doesn't care about me; I'm just a Clingan after all. My family mostly consists of Security Devils or servants or assistants for other high-ranked demons..
I'm just a Clingan. Nothing else; that's how they see me.
Dyer fell to the ground, tail limp but twitching every so often. His breathing became much shallower as petals started to form in his throat.
