Free music that you can KEEP on FREEGAL

You are PAYING for all this with your tax money - USE THEM. Most likely systems will have all 3 or 2 out of 3, so if you aren’t sure call your local library’s reference/information desk and how you can get set-up or started.

Overdrive has a new mobile app called LIBBY I find it easier to use. It’s the same content as Overdrive just better for mobile. Overdrive and Libby both let you send items to your kindle as well.

Can confirm Overdrive is amazing.

I work in the largest library system in my state (17 branches in total).

I use it not only for ebooks, but movies as well.

Other FREE resources to check with your library for are:

Freegal Music (download and keep music, including current music)

Hoopla Digital (borrow ebooks, e-audiobooks, e-graphic novels, stream movies)

Kanopy (stream movies; also available on Roku!)

Axis360 (usually hot or just released ebooks)

If you don’t have a library card…

GET ONE!

If someone says libraries are a thing of the past…

BOOP THEM IN THE NOSE WITH YOUR KINDLE!

Don’t discount libraries as “quiet” places.

Depression Is...

Depression is paying $1600 a month for a beautiful home but leaving it a disgusting mess because you can’t deal with anything other than going to work and parenting and on some days even those things are too much.

Depression is wanting to care for yourself but not being able to do it because why would you care for something you don’t care about.

Depression is wishing for something else even though you have everything you need because surely it will fix….this. Whatever “this” is.

Depression is not being able to see in color because every damn thing is dipped in shades of gray.

Depression is being a chameleon because no one can possibly tell just how fucked up your brain is unless they are the unfortunate ones who get to see the breakdown.

Depression is knowing you’re depressed but being unable to do anything about it because you “know” and isn’t that enough?

Depression is watching your decisions affect those around you and knowing you’d make them again because you were physically unable to do anything else.

Depression is moving through life at a snails pace because no matter how quickly you tread, your feet keep slogging through the same puddle of quicksand.

Depression is knowing it’ll get better but wrapping up in that sadness like an old worn blanket because it’s the only thing you know as well as your own name.
