I remembered Queering The Map existed and I wanted to share some entries from Gaza and the West Bank. I would implore you guys to check out the website yourself as I couldn't fit all of them here.

It infuriates me to see Israeli propaganda that tried to garner support from queers as well as people saying you shouldn't support Palestine because ""they're homophobic.""

Most of all, in the midst of this, I am infuriated to see queer Palestinians be forgotten about.

We see you, Palestinian lesbians, gays, bi/pan/etc, trans men, trans women, nonbinary people, ace and aros, and many more. Most of all, we have not forgotten about you.

We see every single one of you and we STAND with every single one of you.

Samir (@samirahmed125) is terrified that he will lose his leg. His leg is severely injured and he needs several surgeries to save it. Every delay means a higher chance that his leg will have to be amputated!

Due to the destruction of medical facilities, hospitals in Gaza cannot perform such a complex operation. He needs to travel to Egypt for the operation.

His little brother Saeed is being imprisoned by the occupation forces. For a long time Samir and his family had thought Saeed when they lost him in a bombing. They are thankful that he is alive, but they are extremely worried. They do not know when he will be released, they do not know what he has endured in prison.

Samir is worried about losing his leg, he is worried about his younger brother Saeed. He is enduring so much. Please help him save his leg and donate if you are able to!

help a disabled trans person catch up on rent so I can move to a safer environment by MARCH 1!!! First year of college I was able to secure a good deal on a shared studio apt with two other guys, but during our second year they invited another guy on board who is clearly a trans fetishist, and I don't feel comfortable here anymore. I've been staying with my friend for the past three days but her bf is coming back from vacay so I can't stay here for another week. I've talked to the other guys about it and they just don't take it seriously, which fucking sucks. I have ME/CFS and can only work part time, so I haven't managed to be able to scrape enough rent to pay my dues. I currently owe $300. Once I pay my portion of this month's rent, I can be out of here & don't have to stay through March.

Manal has arrived safely in Cairo and is awaiting life-saving treatment! As of writing this, the Al Manasra family is $5,250 away from covering Manal's scheduled blood transfusion.

None of this would have been possible without your compassion and generosity towards this family's campaign. I will be sharing frequent updates until this final stretch for the fundraiser is complete and the entire family is safe. Manal's hysterectomy has been funded and she will be operated on tomorrow. After two days for recovery, the family will be expected to pay to remove infected blood that still threatens her life.
