Break it Right Back || Dylan & Bradley
Bradley smiled, letting Dylan keep his hands on his shoulders. âMaybe you could help me get one?â he asked softly, tilting his head. He stared back at his old friend, glad to see him safe and sound. âIâm workingâŠJust trying to get by. IâŠIâm also engaged,â he mumbled, somewhat sheepishly, though he was proud of it.
âI would love to. Gotta sync you into the internet.â Dylanâs eyes widened, his smile growing. âSeriously? Congratulations. I guess the human life is really going well for you.â With a cough behind him, the now young male, remembered who he was with and stepping back, he slung his arm across a young womanâs shoulders. âOh, yeah, Bradley, this is my sister, Rachel. Rachel this is Bradley. Heâs a friend I made when I was in Broken.âÂ

Bradley stared at the young man that he had bumped into. His eyes widened, before letting out a small oomph as he was grabbed and hugged tightly. âH-Hey!â he stammered, hugging him back happily. âIt has been foreverâŠâ he murmured softly as he relaxed in Dylanâs arms.Â
He pulled away slightly, his brows furrowing. âFacebook?â The blonde tilted his head, somewhat confused, before nodding again. âY-Yeah⊠Iâm here⊠I live here, you know.â
Dylan laughed again, pulling away but keeping his hands on the otherâs shoulders. âYeah, thinking about it now you probably donât have Facebook. Thatâs fine, not a lot of people do.â He couldnât believe what was happening right now. It was Bradley. âDo you? Thatâs pretty awesome. What are you doing now then?âÂ

Bradley was hurrying down the sidewalk. It wasnât that he wasnât paying attention. Clearly, he was, but the blonde haired man was simply in a rush. He was hurrying around, phone in hand as he was busy texting. He looked up, only barely missing running into another young man walking by. âS-Sorry!â Bradley stammered, their shoulders brushing. He really had to watch himself; he was getting more careless these days. But that was probably due to his giddy excitement after the big news. He paused, staring at the young man he walked past. ââŠD-DylanâŠ?â
A family trip, his dad had said as he quite forcefully dragged the boy out of his bed last week. His parents, step-mom and dad, were out doing god knows what so Dylan had agreed to go for a walk with Rachel. Though they werenât siblings by blood, the two had grown close as siblings ever would since Dylan came home. He was lost in conversation when he collided with someone. The male didnât think anything of it, after all, it wasnât the first person heâd bumped into today. âWhaâ Bradley?â The boy laughed, gently grabbing the otherâs arm and pulling him into an embrace. âWow, itâs been like forever. I tried to find you on Facebook, but wow, youâre here.âÂ

Jean knocks on the door swiftly.â May I come in sir?â He asked softly waiting for the other to reply.â You have a nice singing voice by the way.â
Glancing up at the knock at the door, Dylan shrugged. âSure. I mean, Iâm dressed. Though the door is slightly open so if I was getting dressed, it would have been closed.â The boy couldnât help the goofy grin that spread over his face at the compliment. âWhy, thank you.âÂ
"What are you doing?" Carter chuckled, looking into the room at the boy.
âI am singing...What are you doing?â
"Yeah. But Iâm not all sheâs got. Sheâs got Jack too. And nothing is gonna happen, Dyl."
âWell, if something does happen, that is what I am doing. Iâm not gonna change my mind.â
âBingo.â
âOh...Who?â
Evelina snorted, shaking her head. âYeah. Right. Right. Youâre funny. You should have been a comedian because that is the best joke, like, ever..â
âKidding, Dylan. You are quite the cutie.â
Narrowing his eyes, the boy rather forcefully zipped up his jacket. âWhat do you want? Other than to witness my amazing singing.â
Kira stared at the older male and rolled her eyes.
âDonât give me that look. Youâre the one who started it.â
Bradley bit his lip nervously, before looking up at Dylan and pulling him into a strong, firm hug. He trembled as he felt himself crying, but it had been the first time that someone had genuinely seemed concerned about his predicament.
The boy couldnât help but yelp as he was pulled forward. He soon relaxed into the hug, patting the other male on the back. âItâs okay.â
"Thatâs not even the correct words" she held her book and gave it a little wave "reading"
âWell, maybe you just know the wrong version of the song.â He replied, shrugging. His eyes fell on her book, tilting his head to see what it was. âWell, maybe you should go back to reading and stop criticising my beautiful singing voice.â
Bradley bit his lips, before looking away as he dug his fingernails into his palms. âWhyâŠ.â he asked lowly. âWhy would you even want to help⊠Everyone leaves me in the end,â the blonde whispered. âYouâll leave me tooâŠâ
âWhy not?â Dylan sighed, pushing himself up with help from the wall. âI wonât leave you again. I promise.âÂ
