This Earth Day, consider watching If A Tree Falls, which documents the brief but brightly burning (literally) existence of the Earth Liberation Front and the government's response, known as the "Green Scare". One of the best documentaries I've seen in a while, and especially topical since an alleged former member (Joseph Dibee) of the ELF was handed over to the US by Cuba (!!) last year.
