I've learned a few things in the past few years that help me understand who I am, finally. I've been alone in my journey but I'm relieved to find I'm not as weird as I thought and not alone. My life is pretty boring since I had to stop working about ten years ago. I have a genetic disorder that limits me physically. I really miss tent camping, hiking long trails, and mountain biking. I still try when possible. I'm not a writer, although in the past I put out some amazing research papers, but I am an avid reader and enjoy fanfic immensely! I am obsessed with Schitts Creek, especially David and Patrick's relationship.

I have been MIA for a few weeks now! I've just had a lot going on. I haven't been on much social media at all. I was supposed to have surgery on the 25th so I spent a lot of time getting my house set up and all I needed. Then I got a horrible stomach bug the night before and had to reschedule. Now I'm scheduled for April 1. She promised it isn't an April Fool's joke.

My daughter gave me a kindle so I downloaded about 1000 Schitt's Creek and Heated Rivalry fics along with 1000 books. I've been reading a lot since the weather has been cold and we got slammed with snow.

I'm looking forward to spring but my gardening will be limited until I recover from the surgery. Maybe I'll actually leave the house and go for some walks. I won't even be able to take pictures like I normally do since I'll only have use of one arm. At least this time the surgery is on my nondominant side.

So that's what's been going on with me. I lead such an exciting life!
