It's been a minute as I rework new art routines into my comics and other stuff, but I've recently made a new YouTube channel and this is my first artwork for it! :) An artistic interpretation for Tappūtī-Bēlet-ekallim, the first documented perfumer in human history. Marked as a perfumer for ancient Mesopotamian royalty, her outfit is loosely based off of this time period.

I'm so excited to bridge ties between my love for perfume and creating art!

In my college days, every professor had a preferred style-- and when you’re still learning about your own, that can leave you on a crazy journey of where you want to be when it comes to how you want to show the world your own vision.

To keep myself grounded, I stuck with ‘themes’ that would help me stay focused in various studies. Commissions helped a lot, as well. 

While these works were part of my educational & early business development, I still cherish them for the time I’d dedicated to learning about what I’ve loved doing since I was a kiddo.

✧ The Shaman Antiquity ✧ Queen Azalea & King Clover of Sarasaland

This story is set thousands of years back in the Paper Mario timeline; these two are conceptual designs for the ancestors of Princess Daisy. 

While they don’t make an official appearance at this point in the timeline, I still love building the world out, and enjoy drawing what everyone looks like. You can learn more about Sarasaland here. It’s a fun start to the rabbit hole I’m way down at this point, hahaha. :]
