I’m a huge fan of mangaka Keiichi Arawi, so I made this reimagined fanart based on some of their works that I really love. Their art is a big inspiration for drawings with white backgrounds or solid color blocks. I did the line art using a Pilot pen, photographed it, then digitally colored the background afterwards — a cosmopolitan girl enjoying songs and coffee or tea

this one was soooo fun to paint T_T i sketched it in my college notebook in 2024 during the most soul-crushing class ever after work… i was exhausted, starving, and mentally at brunch somewhere else

i scanned the sketch and painted it in medibang paint, and for the background i used a pic of my living room table lol so it has this weird manga augmented reality vibe?? fully mixed media moment

Tomato is my favorite fruit.

I used to hate tomatoes as a kid. My older brother told me to give every food a second try, so eventually I did. Turns out the thing I was missing is that tomatoes are packed with umami, one of the five basic tastes, the savory one you get from natural glutamates Now it makes sense that tomatoes went from my childhood enemy to the thing I’ll happily throw into sandwiches, salads and spaghetti

Here in Brazil, we call every caramel-colored stray dog “caramelo.” They’re kind of a cultural icon, full of energy, super docile, and very cute. I love Caramelo doggos and caramel macchiatos! 🧡🐕☕

i’ve been experimenting a lot with markers lately — trying out different textures and color blends. these are my own versions of some FLCL artworks i found on pinterest.

the first one references a weezer song — and i just found out that ajikan did a really good cover of it.

I’m kinda trying to convince my friend to go to a weezer concert with me (she’s definitely not doing it lol).
