December, 1944. After returning from a brutal campaign in Normandy, Renton and Eureka are eager to return to their normal lives. On Christmas Eve, just as they are ready to celebrate the holidays, they get a message from Dominic and Anemone asking them to join in their celebrations. How can they refuse?
I always felt a little sad that I didn’t participate in last year’s Secret Santa. I just didn’t really have a lot of time, and my dad’s passing put a damper on the holiday spirit as well as writing any potential stories. This is to make up for my absence last year.
This is for @alyce-in-enchantment, my partner for the Eureka 7 Secret Santa event. I can’t really give anything else besides a short story, so I hope that you like this. Enjoy and Merry Christmas!
This is set in the historical timeline, but there are no major spoilers for the series so far in here, nor do you need to know everything about the series to enjoy it. Just be aware it’s a little different than the others, and you should be good. :)

Secret Santa Gift - "Christmas Eve"
This is my Secret Santa gift for Mischa @kurohawt.
It’s a short story called “Christmas Eve”, set at some point during the original series, probably early on. Anemone and Dominic are stuck at a remote base due to bad weather and a breakdown, and end up finding an unlikely shared interest. It’s entirely worksafe, and I tried to make it funny and heartwarming.

Kicking the week off with our favorite human/coralian protagonists! Create something that showcases the love between Renton and Eureka!

Day Two is all about our military brats. Show your love for Anemone, Dominic, and even Gulliver on this day!

Whether it involves shirts or not, Day Three is the day to write something about the relationship between the leaders of the Gekko.

Siblings! Parents and their kids! Friendships! This is a day to celebrate the platonic relationships in Eureka Seven.

I want this week not only to celebrate the love inside Eureka Seven, but also why the fans love it so much, too. So! Show your love for your favorite episode or scene with graphics, gif sets, or screencap redraws! Want to rewrite the ending to an episode? Go for it!
DAY SEVEN: WHY YOU LOVE EUREKA SEVEN
Show your love of Eureka Seven by creating anything you’d like on the day of the tenth anniversary! This can involve any kind of media creation about favorite characters/episodes/ships/themes, or just a written reflection, if you’d like.
Promoting this over on this blog! Not a gift exchange, but you could help add to the amount of fanworks for the fandom, which would be a great gift to the community as a whole on the 10th anniversary of this series! :’)
