Maybe one reason time seems to speed up in adult life is because when your full time job leaves you roughly 5 hours of free time a day plus two days off a week your life turns into a sort of monotony that makes the days blend together and creative pursuits move in slow motion as you can only get to them when other your commitments are done.

Thank you to those who joined us for the 2022 Kulinday stream, it was lovely to hang out with y’all! My contribution to the stream was some art time, of course drawing our favourite little floof!

The first two drawings were based on the ordeal of trying to please the modded Kulindadromeus in @shadows-and-science-gone-mad‘s game of Zoo Tycoon 2. The little guys were angery and refused to eat or rest, instead choosing to yell at all manner of food and shelter that was offered to them. Kulinda says absolutely no beet root.

The third was based on some lovely Kulinda cartoon designs by @otussketching, and I had a go at drawing a Kulinda in his style. He certainly does it better than I do, but it was a fun challenge to take on!

I’m really enamored with the dynamic of two characters who work perfectly in tandem, like pacific rim drift compatible level, but they don’t like each other. It’s not even as strong an emotion as hate it’s just a very neutral-negative dislike, but they still act in perfect concert and their individual abilities are fully complementary
