Misuzu: In this case, I probably want to declare my love for Yan-san (Anju Mira). The reason I seriously fell in love with Takarazuka, was Yan-san. And as an onnayaku too! Usually, otokoyaku Yan-san gives off this “how cool!” vibe, right? But that was completely different, I was like “Who is this person?”
Sagiri: Which production was that?
Misuzu: “The Flash”. During Natsume-san’s (Ooura Mizuki) Top Star era.
Sagiri: Right!

Sagiri: *laughs* As for me, I loved the YanMiki combi (Anju Mira & Maya Miki), and what I loved the most about Yan-san is her opening announcements!

Sagiri: I have a thing for opening announcements, and those were some goosebump-inducing ones *laughs*

Sagiri: I felt something very grownup there, that spoke to my little heart when I was still a child. The impression I have of Yan-san is her opening announcements *laughs* My favourite plays of hers that constantly compete for the title and switch between 1st and 2nd place are “Sorrowful Cordoba” and “Melancholic Gigolo”.

star wars headcanon time:
- so mon mothma (based on the ep3 deleted scenes) knew Padme pretty well. and consequently TOTALLY clocked that she was pregnant. she knew. a bunch of senators knew. they never said anything because they respected her privacy.
- however padme was good at keeping her Secret Affairs under wraps so mon mothma had no idea who the father was. she never guessed it might be anakin bcos everyone knows Jedi don’t do stuff like that.
- padme dies suddenly & mysteriously. shortly thereafter bail organa and his wife announce that they’ve adopted a baby girl.
- at the time mon mothma does not think much of this BUT later as leia gets older she begins to resemble padme more and more in both looks & personality and mon mothma is like. hmmm.
- so she draws the natural conclusion.
- padme was having an affair with bail organa! and when she died in childbirth bail quietly ‘adopted’ the baby to avoid the scandal.
- mon mothma elects not to say anything about this because it’s not really her business and also the past is the past and padme has been. dead for several years at this point and she doesn’t feel like opening that wound back up.
- instead she just, takes leia under her wing.
- anyway! later when a kid w the last name Skywalker who says his dad was a jedi shows up to join the rebellion she’s like. hm.
- she didn’t know anakin well but at the very least she knew OF him and they like, probably met
- so she figures anakin must have fathered a child while he was travelling the galaxy during the clone wars. she never really liked anakin so she’s just like ‘hm guess he was a deadbeat dad. can’t say I’m surprised.’
- she is not aware however that Anakin became Darth Vader so she doesn’t really feel the need to say anything to luke about this. as far as she’s aware luke already knows the truth about his parentage. at most she might be like ‘hey I knew your dad a bit, he was a good jedi & a war hero’.
- so as far as mon mothma is concerned, anakin skywalker’s son and padme amidala’s daughter are both fighting for the rebellion. the fact that they’re the same age is just kind of a coincidence. tatooine uses a different calendar from most planets so she never notices that they literally have the same birthday.
- anyway later Leia is like ‘so guess what! luke is my long-lost brother. isn’t that wild?’
- and mon mothma is like
………………….’PADME WAS BANGING ANAKIN SKYWALKER????’
(leia: not what I expected you to take from that but. yeah I guess she was.)
Mon Mothma: Leia I’m so sorry for that outburst, it was completely inappropriate. Anakin Skywalker was a good jedi and my personal dislike for him doesn’t make him any less of a hero-

like personally I do like sharing what I have because I do understand not everyone has the finances to enjoy this very expensive fandom, but if you're a rando who's never interacted with the fandom and you feel like you just deserve these things maybe take a step back. learn how this fandom works and learn WHY its like this. this isn't your standard theatre fandom and there have been serious crackdowns

I haven't posted or updated this account in forever and I don't plan on really coming back to tumblr, but some of you from the Korra fandom years ago might recall me talking about getting this tattoo. Just wanted to let y'all know I finally got it. 😊
i know this tumblr is mostly for reblogs and shitposting BUT i did want to share a little bit of charity work I'm doing.
My dad was an executive at Warner Bros. Records in the 90s and while he was there, an up and coming band called XERO gave an exhibition concert and passed out a couple demo tapes in hopes of getting signed to the label. Eventually, they did get signed but under a different name that for legal reasons I can't say but would take you two seconds to google.
Also uhhh it turns out that there's a lost track on the tape that no one even knew EXISTED until late 2020. And this tape was just. Sitting in my dad's tape collection in perfect condition. So I decided to auction the tape off for charity. I picked the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, a charity that routinely scores well among charity watch dog groups, in honor of my father. You can also donate directly to the charity from that link if you'd rather do that than bid on the tape.

sometimes i get mad at the sequels for just how little info they give us about luke reforming the jedi order after the ot (and what info they do give us is GARBAGE) just bc i love imagining the sheer hilarity of luke running a week long jedi thinktank retreat on ach to with all the remaining surviving jedi to work out the rules of the new jedi order like can you imagine the CHAOS that would ensue??
