The FDK

5’4” x 20 1/2” x 2 9/16”

The flat deck keel fin is my version of the original fish creator, Steve Lis.

It has the necessary elements of the original fish but features that suit the east coast Australian waves.

With the flatter deck it allows me to shape these with nice low tuned in rails, the bottom contours allow you to really push through turns.

A fuller nose outline and plenty of volume allows these things to be surfed shorter then your normal board but most importantly closer to the pocket.

4 + 4 + 4 deck patch cut lap pigment tint.

4 + 4 volan fin patch clear bottom.

A modern transitional foil with a classic outline makes up the FDK, responsive rails and exciting contours give an agile and responsive feel, a subtle side cut added to some for a faster reaction.

Enough area in the front third to put those toes over and just the right amount of tail flip to put it on rail. Transitional Rolled V Longboard

Lively in the water ranging from ankle biters to head high waves these V bottoms will keep you engaged with some exciting toe to heel surfing. The flow through V tail allows for maximum rear foot agility and a minimum amount of foam under foot.

Olive green pigment inlayed deck, light lemon beige transparent tint on the bottom, black and dark maroon pin lines come up clean as a whistle under polish finished board.

12” fin box and I have a range of Alkali, Captain Fin Co and True Ames long board Fins ranging from 9.5” - 11.5”.

9'1" x 22 ¾" x 2 7/8 Nose Rider ‘PIVOT QUEEN’ Features a cut lap transparent tint bottom with 6 oz + Volan fin box patch, 12" limited multi colour alkali fin semi flex fin. The deck has a material inlay with pin lines and 6 oz + 6 oz fibreglass combination. A good traditional all rounder, nose concave makes for a great nose rider whilst the roll gives it the ability to turn and pivot with ease. FOR SALE 7'7" x 22" x 2 7/8" HEARTACHE These things have been going so well, with a great feeling lower rail with a nice tucked bottom edge these have been such a pleasure to make and surf. Wide point pulled back to have that volume under your feet but as soon as you step forward they trim incredibly fast. This one features an abstract foam stain all over and a the two plus one fin set up, subtle rolled entry and a spiral V exiting the bottom third. As always it's hand shaped using a Burford stringerless blank and a quality, long lasting glass job. $1350

Arc tail N.R Pivot Queen

A solid glass job that won’t break your arm carrying it to the water, 6 x 6 oz deck, 6 x 6 oz bottom with fin box patch. Low rails, nice little nose concave with nose flip and long curving tail sporting some V whilst the deck rocker being low. Double glue up in Obeche timber stringer is tasteful on the eye. Transitional outline with distinct hip in the lower third makes for easy turning yet something to bite in when on the nose. Polished bottom 12" Alkali semi flex fin has been working epic in these plus 9’ boards.

Used 9'2" x 22 ½ x 2 ¾ arc tail pivot NR queen available. Perfect condition, nose rides extremely well with the versatility to have a great rail game. Paulownia tail wedge x 2 and single 2’ nose wedge to slightly stiffen up tail and nose. 12" alkali semi flex fin. SOLD

This classic nose rider is a life time keeper, being an easy turner and a traditional nose rider it features a dual ply stringer (the box will not crack, move or budge for the next 40 years). A 7.5 ounce volan + six ounce deck with a multi colour cut lap striped abstract. And a six ounce + six fin patch, 12" box and 10.5" pivot fin from alkali. Finished in a hand sanded gloss coat to 800 grit. A tail with v that softens into a roll with a flatter nose area and end flip. This is as premium as they come with out being polished which I can do for another $100. 9'7" x 22 ¾ x 2 11/16 $1680
