Everyone loves the big, beautiful speeches on Tumblr. Everyone likes the posts screaming about how we desperately need diversity, how we need POC readers, plus-size readers, gender-neutral readers, disabled readers, etc.
Those posts get thousands of likes. Everyone wants to look progressive.
But what happens in reality? What happens when a truly inclusive fanfiction is actually published?
Suddenly, the crowd vanishes. Silence. The story gets treated like a niche within a niche.
The hypocrisy is systemic. Platforms give us tags to help make diverse stories searchable. But look at how the 'inclusive' crowd uses them. They don't use tags like 'Plus-size Reader' or 'POC Reader' to find content—they use them as a negative filter. They systematically mute and exclude these tags from their dashboards so they never have to look at them. They demand authors label their diversity, not to celebrate it, but to make it easier to avoid.
Let’s talk about how ridiculous this is. You can have two fanfictions. They have the exact same summary. The exact same plot. Word for word. The writing is great, the ideas are amazing. But if one is a generic "X Reader" and the other is a "Chubby Reader" or a "Disabled Reader"?Everyone disappears. Nobody wants it unless it fits the generic mold.
And let’s look at how they treat these stories when they actually open them. They don’t want true representation; they want misery porn. They will only accept a plus-size or disabled character if the entire plot centers around their trauma, their insecurities, and their tears. The moment an author writes a diverse character who is simply confident, happy, and having a normal, sexy romance without apologizing for existing? The progressive audience walks away. They don’t want to normalize you; they just want to pity you to feed their own savior complex.
Then come the excuses. I have seen people look at an inclusive fic and say, "Oh, I don't feel legitimate reading this because I don't look like that character/reader."
Are you serious?
Think about the bigger people. The people of color. The people living with a disability, a squint, or losing their hair because of stress. For decades, they had to swallow thousands of "X Reader" stories that looked exactly like a standard, skinny, white Original Character (OC). They read them without complaining for years, even though they looked absolutely nothing like them.
The day they finally speak up and demand to be seen?
They get likes on their rants, but zero actual support for their stories.
The worst part? The sheer hypocrisy of the readers who belong to these marginalized groups themselves. They have been so heavily spoon-fed by the "generic" standard that they won't even support authors who write for people outside the norm. They are outside the norm themselves in real life, but they still reject inclusive fics because they've been brainwashed by the generic skinny, able-bodied fantasy.
We need to talk about the excuse of 'escapism.' Many readers from these exact marginalized groups claim they use fanfiction to escape reality. But let's be honest about what that really means: your imagination has been so colonized by systemic beauty standards that you cannot even fantasize about yourself in your own skin. You demand representation on the public timeline for political points, but in the dark, you still crave the white, skinny, able-bodied default. You want the world to change, but you refuse to change your own desires.
And let's hit the peak of hypocrisy: the ones who finally get the exact representation they begged for, but completely refuse to interact. They will click on the fic, read it in secret, take everything the author gave them, and then leave absolutely zero likes, zero reblogs, and zero comments. They demand to be visible in the stories, but they choose to remain a ghost when it's time to support the creator who actually listened to them. They refuse to do the bare minimum for their own community.
Why are you refusing to interact? Is it out of shame? Are you afraid of being rejected by the "popular clique" if people see you liking a fic that doesn't fit the standard norm?
This ghost behavior isn't just laziness; it's social cowardice. In today’s hyper-punitive fandom culture, interacting with a diverse fic is seen as a political risk. If the author makes one wrong move, uses one imperfect term, or writes a scene that doesn't fit the current internet dogma, the 'anti' crowd will tear them apart. So readers play it safe. They consume the representation in secret like thieves, stealing the author's emotional labor, but they refuse to leave a trace. They protect their own digital reputation by leaving the creator to stand completely alone in the cold.
Listen, you can't please everyone. That's a fact of life. But don't you dare cry when everything is gone. When authors stop writing for you, when the diversity you begged for completely vanishes because you were too scared or too lazy to hit the reblog button, do not cry. You caused this.
People love the concept of inclusivity because it makes them look good on their dashboard. But when it's time to actually read, comment, and give visibility to a real diverse story, their laziness and internalized biases take over.
You thought I wouldn't come back? That I had just demolished Team Black while being 'nice' to Team Green?
The case of Daeron and his actor being minors.
Let's start with the most serious issue, because we have gone way past the boundaries of fiction into pure delusion and illegality.
Team Green loves to turn a blind eye to their own side, but let's talk about Daeron Targaryen. Or rather, his actor, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth. The actor is only 17 years old. During filming, he must have been 16.
And yet, I see certain individuals engaging in inappropriate behavior toward him and creating highly suggestive content using his image.
Stop hiding behind the 'it's a fictional character' excuse. The character is a minor in the books, and the actor is a minor in real life. Using the face and body of a 16-year-old for inappropriate content is not fandom; it is deeply disturbing and harmful. Your moral compass is completely broken.
The scriptwriting sabotage.
(Warning : spoiler of season 3)
Now, let's talk about how the writers sabotaged this character, because the absurdity has reached peak levels. In the show, Alicent hears that Ormund Hightower is a bad man, not good at all. And what does she do? Instead of leaving Daeron under the protection of Gwayne (who is literally the ONLY somewhat sane and grounded guy in this family), she prefers to give her son to Ormund. The logic? Zero. She is sending him straight to a butcher. And after that, she comes crying about wanting to "protect her children." What total inconsistency...
And whose genius idea was it to give him red/auburn hair?In the books, Daeron is a silver-haired kid, a classic Targaryen. But the show wanted to stick red hair on him. The result? It makes him a potential bastard of Alicent's in the eyes of the fandom. Now, they are all like:
"Yeah, she had a bastard too! Jacaerys and the others are legitimate! She's just a hypocrite!!!"
All of this just to create a fake, garbage parallel and try to clear Rhaenyra's name for putting Strongs on the throne. Absolute nonsense.
Ormund Hightower
I viscerally hate what they are doing to the Hightower bloodline. Ormund? I hate him so much that I can't even watch the scenes he's in without getting angry.
I hate him on a visceral level.
I tried to watch the parts where he appears, but it's just too much for me.
The guy spends his entire time trashing Rhaenyra in castles where the lords actually bent the knee to her. And then, the audacity to get pissed off and send insulting messages to Borros Baratheon! All because Borros wisely refuses to send his army until the promised marriage to his daughter has actually taken place.
The guy insults the daughter of a lord who is way more powerful than he is by calling her "horseface". He thinks he can get away with anything, thinks he's the smartest? Come on, old man, you're sending a kid with silver hair while Alicent is with Rhaenyra and can confirm whether it's actually him or not.
Besides, he traumatizes both kids. And what about Daeron? He isn't even treated like a real squire, but flat out like a low-class servant. Ormund acts like he owns Westeros when he's nothing but an arrogant, cruel pawn. Season 3 has gotten so weird because of him.
And what did you think? That Borros Baratheon is just a useful idiot? No. He knows he's not going to send his armies to fight for nothing. He wanted a marriage and he didn't get it. Do you really think the guy who is literally an ancestor of Robert Baratheon is going to fight for nothing? He would be the first one to crush Ormund for the insults toward his daughter. Not for the insult to her specifically, but for the direct affront to House Baratheon. Just a reminder in case anyone forgot: the Hightowers are merely vassals to the Tyrells, not one of the Great Houses of the Seven Kingdoms. Sit down.
Gwayne Hightower?
He's the only one I've been happy to see since Season 2. It's a miracle he hasn't killed Criston Cole in his sleep. I truly hope Gwayne survives all this. He's the only one who sticks to his convictions and isn't toxic.
Alicent Part 2.
Alright, let's talk about Alicent again.
Sure, she allowed the servant abused by Aegon to leave with resources and moon tea in Season 1. But after that? In Season 2, we see her involved with Criston Cole, and then she degrades herself by accepting the deaths of her own sons just to try and save herself with Helaena.
And in Season 3? She wants to force Helaena to end a pregnancy... Helaena, who is described as being on the autism spectrum, if I'm not mistaken... Meanwhile, Alicent did absolutely nothing for her when she was pregnant at a much younger age. What foul hypocrisy. And that kiss with Rhaenyra?? The woman is literally her enemy, ordered the murder of her grandson, and wants her sons' heads. But no, apparently that's nothing compared to some hidden "desire."
Helaena Targaryen.
I already touched upon this briefly in my first post, but it needs to be emphasized.
Helaena is never believed when she talks about her dreams, even though they are prophetic. These are visions that Viserys should have listened to, since he was literally the only one who cared about and believed in these types of prophecies.
When she was assaulted by Blood and Cheese, she was alone with her children. Without a single guard at the door. Not a knight on patrol. Not a single guard assigned per member of the royal bloodline. Helaena is forced to choose between her daughter and her son. She ends up pointing to her son (in the show, let me specify again). She hears him being murdered and his head being removed. Afterward, she has to walk through empty hallways where not a guard, a servant, or a lord is in sight. All of this just to end up in her mother's bedroom while she is with Criston Cole.
Are you going to tell me that you would get out of that without any trauma? She then sees the common people understand her grief when her son's body is paraded through King's Landing. She sees guards being killed one or two episodes later, because the people are rioting due to famine and disease.
Let's talk about her relationship with Rhaenyra. If Rhaenyra wants to spare her, it's solely because she's a girl and the show portrays her with cognitive differences. It's cheap pity, not because she actually likes her! Helaena is simply not a threat to her, so Rhaenyra acts all virtuous while having her kid killed. And to top it all off, now she's pregnant in Season 3. I can see it coming from a mile away: "It's Aemond's son! It's to please the fans who fantasize about it! See, we listen to your theories!"
When in reality, this completely massacres the books and the very logic established in the first two seasons. Oh, and now she wants chickens...
And by the way... Where is Jaehaera??? Locked away in some room forgotten by the writers?"
Otto Hightower.
The death of Otto.
What an absolute waste. It was so unnecessary to have him go out like that. The writers completely veered away from the books just to serve us a pathetic scene.
The ridiculous treatment of Otto. Locked away all this time in the dungeons of the Red Keep? By Larys? Queen Regent Alicent, who is supposed to do everything to protect her family, doesn't even bother to check the dungeons to see if her father is there? Not a single loyal servant, not a single attempt to get information? Nothing.
They could have locked him up with the Tyrells, the Lannisters, or even better, the Baratheons. That would have made so much more sense: it would have given Borros Baratheon massive leverage over the Greens, on top of the promised marriage to his daughter. Instead, they just let him rot quietly under the Red Keep.
Only to end up how? Half-beheaded by Rhaenyra, who suddenly discovers that killing a guy is a horrible thing to do. "To be strong!" Yeah, right. The guy acted more like a responsible father figure to Rhaenyra than Viserys ever did during his lifetime and even after his death. Rhaenyra only started hating Otto the moment Daemon planted the seed in her mind that "this guy is a manipulative jerk."
Aemond Part 2.
He became the absolute darling of Team Green, even though the guy kills a kid and massacres an entire village out of frustration, all while trying to be a Daemon 2.0 with his clothing style and armor?
The defense of Vhagar?
She's an old nag. She's a war machine. It's like trying to ride the Cannibal. You get on her back, you survive, it's a miracle. But after that? You can talk all you want, she won't listen to you.
I already mentioned the fact that Aegon goes into battle completely depressed and drunk.
Aemond's reaction... seriously. The guy lets the armies get killed, he lets Meleys burn everyone. But the only moment he finds it worthy to fight? It's to burn his completely wasted brother, who arrives on a dragon way smaller than Meleys and Vhagar... With zero consideration like "I should draw Meleys away and find a way to separate them without risking my brother's life." No. He just burns everything to the ground.
From this point on, I will talk about the minor characters from both teams that I didn't cover in the previous post.
Rhaenys Velaryon born Baratheon.
Very often called 'The Queen Who Never Was.' What a title, honestly—as if being barred from taking the throne by a vote of the nobles wasn't already humiliating enough.
Only to then watch her cousin become a weak king, incapable of tightening the screws on Daemon and the entirety of the Seven Kingdoms.
Her daughter was almost married off at 12 years old to Viserys, and she had to explain to Laena that she would have to wait until she was 14 to consummate the marriage... 14 years old. A child.
A few years later, Laena is married to Daemon after he ran away with her to Essos. Rhaenys is happy to see her grandchildren, but she loses Laena while her daughter is on the other side of the ocean, all while she has to manage Rhaenyra’s bullshit and Corlys's illness.
Then, the very night of Laena’s funeral at sea, Laenor dies. She is already piling up grief, and now Lucerys dies in turn, Corlys confesses his infidelity to her, Daemon vanishes, and Rhaenyra completely loses it, refusing to see that war has become inevitable.
Rhaenys finally goes to war as a broken woman, realizing that nothing is being done to actually protect her grandchildren. Her death? The look Meleys gives Rhaenys when she turns back to return to the battlefield. It’s suicide. You can feel Meleys asking for forgiveness. And Rhaenys accepts her death.
The next episode? Criston shows up with Meleys's head... that's how you show the common people that a creature they view as gods is actually mortal.
Corlys Velaryon.
Let's talk about the Sea Snake, since he is the direct link to Rhaenys.
At the beginning of the show, he is presented to us as a great lord, proud and ambitious. But let's look at the facts: he is above all a man who allies with Daemon out of pure personal profit and ego during the war against the Crabfeeder, simply because the king didn't give him the importance he felt he deserved. He even let his own brother die by Daemon's sword, out of pure profit and greed for power.
Furthermore, his willful blindness regarding Rhaenyra’s children is total hypocrisy. Everyone knows that Jacaerys, Lucerys, and Joffrey are Strongs, but my lord prefers to close his eyes and repeat his favorite catchphrase: "History does not remember blood, it remembers names."
Except that this obsession with greatness put a massive target on the backs of his supposed heirs.
Yet, Corlys is one of the few allies of Rhaenyra powerful enough to threaten the Greens (along with the Starks). He supported her, fought, lost his wife and children, and is watching his grandchildren die. Thank goodness Rhaenys was by his side to manage his disproportionate ambitions and try to minimize the damage. Without her to ground him and hold House Velaryon together while he was playing grand admiral or lying on his deathbed, his bloodline would have collapsed much sooner.
In the end, he is left with two bastard sons:
Addam and Alyn "Velaryon".
Two brothers thrown into the middle of a war that was none of their business. Alyn is a loyal sailor whom Corlys ignored his entire life. And Addam ends up riding Seasmoke. Corlys asks Rhaenyra to legitimize them as Velaryons, which she refuses. What hypocrisy.
It makes his "Your sons are bastards!" during Season 3 make so much more sense.
It's one of the best moments. These two brothers expose the full injustice of the system: they worked hard while the Strong sons stole the Velaryon identity in luxury. And now, Rhaenyra refuses to legitimize them but uses them as cannon fodder.
And let's talk about Addam and Baela in Season 3. In episode 5, we see him flirting openly. Even though Jace died less than four episodes earlier. The speed of it is mind-boggling. Does grief not exist in this show? Baela is supposed to be broken, but the writers are rushing to force a romance.
Hugh and Ulf.
I already explained that Rhaenyra was wrong to recruit bastards from the streets. With Season 3, this is fully confirmed. Rhaenyra and Daemon openly mock them, even though Vermithor would devour Syrax in the blink of an eye. They ate with them at the same table exactly once, and after that? Cast aside. They are leaving three new dragon riders running loose.
Apparently, these horned woodsmen are a direct reference to the Green Men, who are linked to the Children of the Forest and the pact of the Isle of Faces.
And for those wondering: yes, there is indeed a nod to them in the book Fire & Blood during the Dance of the Dragons. The story mentions that Addam Velaryon flies Seasmoke to their island to ask for their counsel. But the show handles this in such a bizarre way in Season 3. It feels like the Dragonseeds just stumble upon them by accident in the middle of a nest of magical forces, while Rhaenyra and Daemon couldn't care less, even though they have magical atomic bombs running wild out in nature.
We are done with the 'Dragonseeds.' We can focus on the others.
Mysaria.
I still don't understand Mysaria's role in this story.
From the very beginning, she seems motivated solely by financial gain. The fact that she abruptly leaves Daemon's arms without any real explanation is already a massive plot hole. We can guess that she was afraid of being pregnant with his child and preferred to vanish... but the show doesn't even take the time to explain it.
We see her much later, at the end of Season 1, when she points out where to find Aegon. Then in Season 2, she suddenly returns to Rhaenyra's side. The whole thing remains very vague and hardly believable, especially when you see Daemon (a possessive, proud, and jealous man) so easily accepting his wife sleeping with his former lover. It goes completely against his character.
Daemon Targaryen.
Let's finish with the absolute darling of the Blacks: Daemon Targaryen. His character writing has become a textbook definition of inconsistency.
After spending his entire time on a psychedelic trip at Harrenhal, seeing visions of Daenerys, White Walkers, and the prophecy, the guy comes back to Rhaenyra acting all "My Queen." But wait... If the man saw that the White Walkers were going to destroy the world, and that Harrenhal is a nest of cursed visions, what is his logic? Does he tell Rhaenyra, "We cannot stay within these cursed walls, we must prepare for the worst"?
No. Not at all. The guy just goes back to fighting, makes friends with the Winter Wolves (the Starks) and Simon Strong, and quietly goes back to his Gold Cloaks in King's Landing. Gold Cloaks who, by the way, end up getting massacred in a completely "mysterious" and inconsistent way... Long live the joys of lazy writing shortcuts.
Baela Targaryen.
Let's talk about Baela’s wasted potential. In the books, Baela is a wild card. She keeps her hair cut short so it doesn't get in her way while riding horses or flying, she refuses to wear dresses, and she loves hunting, swearing, and drinking with the sailors of Driftmark. She is a true untamed Targaryen, worthy of her father. In the show? She has become a proper, well-behaved noble girl who calmly and obediently listens to Rhaenyra, playing the polite scout on Moondancer. Where did her fire go? The writers sanitized her character so much that she is practically invisible, to the point of forcing a pseudo-romance with Addam barely four episodes after her fiancé Jace's death. It is a total insult to her book personality.
The disaster of Rhaena Targaryen.
Replacing Nettles is a thematic heresy.
But the worst outrage lies in the treatment of Rhaena. To please an action-obsessed audience, the show decided to have her replace Nettles by claiming Sheepstealer. Visually, it's pretty, but from a screenwriting perspective, it makes absolutely no sense.
Nettles, in the books, is a crucial character: she is a street urchin with no apparent Valyrian blood who tames a wild dragon not through blood magic, but through intelligence, by bringing him sheep every morning. Nettles proved that the Targaryens were not gods and that their 'genetic superiority' was a lie.
By giving her role to Rhaena (a pure-blooded princess), the show completely destroys this message and validates Valyrian elitism.
The theft of a beautiful arc.
By turning Rhaena into a warrior on Sheepstealer, the writers are robbing her of her true arc, which is actually one of the most poetic in Fire & Blood.
In the books, Rhaena does not fight. She stays in the Vale of Arryn and spends the war hatching her dragon eggs. And that is where the magic happens: at the very end of the war, while almost all the dragons in the world are slaughtering one another and going extinct in blood, one of Rhaena's eggs hatches. She gives birth to Morning, a pink and gold she-dragon.
Morning was the absolute symbol of hope. She represented reconstruction, life resuming after the apocalypse of the Dance of the Dragons, and the fact that Rhaena would be the guardian of the dynasty's future. This dragon grew and eventually went wild after Rhaena's death. In their obsession to make her just another 'badass' on the battlefield, the show transformed Rhaena into a makeshift Nettles responsible for disasters (like Jace’s death at the Gullet in the show). They traded a beautiful story of resilience and hope for family drama and explosions. It is nameless, lazy writing.
From protecting real-life minors to respecting thematic arcs, this production has completely lost its moral and creative compass. They wanted explosions and drama, but they delivered nameless, lazy writing.
No matter which “team” you’re on, I’ve seen blacklisting, harassment, insults, and mockery. I’ve seen this fandom set on fire and bleeding. It’s a fictional world. Whether you like the books or the series or not, whether you agree or not: neither side is more virtuous than the other.
Starting from the beginning. Here, I’m talking about the show, because I’m convinced a lot of people haven’t necessarily read the books.
The case: VISERYS I.
I’m starting with him, not Jaehaerys. There should be an entire post dedicated to him… (the good and especially the bad, which is often forgotten).
Viserys, the beloved king of the Team Black… Shall I start straight with Aemma? Yes. Between getting her pregnant very young and continuing to try for a male heir at the cost of his wife’s health, Viserys is already more than questionable.
The scene of Aemma’s death? It’s the height of Viserys’ hypocrisy. He had his wife cut open to pull out a child. Both died. And then? He cries, he wallows.
Yeah, except it was his order. He could have spared his wife additional suffering. Performing surgery without the equipment or the know-how is like throwing someone who doesn’t know how to swim into the Mariana Trench. It’s not a happy ending.
Then what happens? He banishes Daemon and names Rhaenyra as future queen… in a medieval political system where, years earlier (at the Great Council), women were barred from the throne…
We agree, Rhaenyra was named to block Daemon.
And his marriage to her??
A truly competent king would have stripped Rhaenyra of her title as future queen because she disobeyed the one condition that made her heir. (Future queen… in a society where only the first male child can access the throne…). But he keeps her.
“But he forgave Daemon!”
Viserys’ brain was so rotten he couldn’t even call Alicent by her name.
“Yeah but it’s an insult to the Greens, they deserve it!”
No. It’s a sign that his brain was literally rotting.
What? He wants to be progressive? Then first, he should have given Rhaenyra real responsibilities instead of making her serve wine. He should have put her in front of the council, made her participate, and shut down the council that kept telling her she was just a girl.
He should have stopped his so-called daughter from going to Dragonstone to retrieve the dragon egg, had her watched so she wouldn’t run off with her UNCLE who wants the throne, and especially prevented her from visiting brothels.
“But she was of age!”
I don’t give a fuck. She’s the future queen! She’s supposed to be above her uncle and the lords who go to whores like it’s their right!
Oh, the good king Viserys. He always wanted a son.
He marries Alicent Hightower. (A marriage that’s already more than questionable.) They have three sons and a daughter in the show. Three sons. Three possible heirs. And he doesn’t raise them. (I’ll come back to each child later.)
He ends up so eaten away by leprosy that it looks more like dark magic than a miracle that he survived that long.
Did he strengthen Rhaenyra’s future reign? Apart from cutting out tongues and therefore fueling the lords’ anger, no.
Did he raise his sons to be kings? No.
He did nothing. And he still dares to die whispering “my love.” Well, Aemma must have kicked his ass hard considering everything what happened during and after his reign.
I can already hear you complaining. But be brave. We’re moving on to Rhaenyra Targaryen.
Rhaenyra.
The one everyone tries to portray as a woman who had to live through hardship, etc., etc.
If every noble woman and girl in the Seven Kingdoms had done even a tenth of what Rhaenyra did, they would have been stripped of their titles, their names, and sent to the Silent Sisters or into exile.
Rhaenyra had a chance that many women in Westeros and Essos never had: the choice of her future husband. Take the Baratheons as an example. It wasn’t Lord Borros’ daughters who chose their husbands. It was their father, along with the future husband or his family, who chose the girl to be married.
Rhaenyra could have had any unmarried young man or lord in the realm, even a Martell prince to secure lasting peace.
But miss refused because of her obsession with Daemon. An obsession repressed by Westerosi laws. Incestuous marriages are forbidden and generally very poorly viewed. There are no exceptions. Even among the Targaryens, incestuous marriage was frowned upon because it gave lords every reason to see them as monsters. Dragons or not.
Her night with Cole? Even though I don’t like the man, in the show she seduces him after being groped by her uncle in a brothel… Just writing this sounds like abuse that cannot in any way be considered consensual. But I’ll come back to that when I talk about Daemon.
She gets caught. Ends up with her father who doesn’t believe her. She loses Alicent because she lied to her. I’ll talk about that better when I get to Alicent.
She destroys the trust of the only two people who were on her side.
Alright, small time jump.
Her marriage to Laenor, who can’t have children… and she ends up with Harwin Strong… an older man, a guard, and above all… white. Laenor is mixed… the children she have had should have been mixed, not white “I burn in the sun in under 2 minutes.”
And I remind you again for those who forgot: I’m talking about the show, not the books.
Every sane person in the Seven Kingdoms knows the moment they see a Velaryon and Rhaenyra’s children that they are bastards. No exceptions.
Spoiler for season 1, 2 and 3.
*cough* Velaryon. *cough*
Instead of owning it, or finding a guard who at least slightly resembled Laenor (and there were some), Madame preferred to do whatever she wanted, as usual.
Instead of making herself heard, instead of being clever, she chose to act like a spoiled brat because her father was king and he was cutting out the tongues of those who said her children were bastards. Even though it was the truth.
She lives in such denial that she doesn’t understand how having bastards on the throne would blow up the Seven Kingdoms.
The day Jacaerys would ascend the throne, every bastard born before the first legitimate male child could claim they had a right to noble houses. Baratheon, Lannister, Stark, Martell, Tyrell, and all the others, great or small. Every bastard could invoke blood right over name right.
You really think faking Laenor’s death so he could flee to Essos was a good idea? He doesn’t even have his dragon — just the dragon itself is a trail that should have followed Laenor everywhere and never taken another rider.
Laenor’s death is a terrible strategy. Especially when you marry right after Laena’s death (Daemon’s second era) and right after Laenor (Rhaenyra’s husband).
People aren’t stupid. Two suspicious deaths one after the other and the two of them secretly marrying right after. It screams assassination and betrayal from a mile away.
From here, I’m going to include two of her children while still talking about Rhaenyra, because dissecting them separately would make everything unreadable.
Jacaerys and Lucerys “Strong” Velaryon (not Targaryen).
Two children born as bastards, constantly put back in their place by their uncles and their step-grandmother (yes, I’m talking about Alicent, don’t start losing me).
They are highly controversial heir princes.
They mock Aemond because he doesn’t have a dragon yet. They think they’re untouchable.
Untouchable while Viserys is alive.
Aemond’s eye being gouged out: let’s remember, it was Lucerys and Jacaerys who started the fight against Aemond.
“But Vhagar was meant for Rhaena!”
Vhagar is an old dragon, a war machine. If Rhaena had hesitated or shown fear, Vhagar would have burned her alive. Child of Laena or not.
How does it end? Lucerys or Jacaerys pulls a dagger and Aemond loses an eye. How do they come out of it? With a few scratches. Rhaenyra and Viserys defend them.
In other noble houses, at minimum a finger would have been broken or an eye gouged out to show that a crime doesn’t go unpunished.
BECAUSE REMINDER (for those in the back):
Gouging out an eye is a crime and some people have been hanged for less. Especially when it’s done to a prince of the blood.
And just before that? Rhaenyra, instead of asserting her title as future queen and sending Alicent and her children away from the Red Keep, leaves for Dragonstone with zero allies.
Because Madame has no notion of politics or what ruling actually means.
I’m going to be harsh and blunt.
Lucerys’ death is entirely Rhaenyra’s fault.
She should have waited for Daemon, who has fought in wars and knows strategy.
She should have sent ravens, not barely teenage kids on small dragons across Westeros.
Because sending Lucerys to Storm’s End was suicide!
You don’t send an emissary who is a prince with no bargaining power to the lord he’s visiting. Especially not in a region where the Greens had already arrived faster with valid marriage proposals.
The Baratheons have a terrible temper and an pride you shouldn’t even scratch.
Sending Lucerys alone when Vhagar was waiting on the other side was stupid.
And we know how it ended: swallowed by Vhagar.
And as time goes on, Rhaenyra proves more and more that she doesn’t know how to rule.
The murder of Helaena’s son?
“It’s not her fault! It’s Daemon!”
Except Rhaenyra is not innocent, because she wanted the life of one of Alicent’s sons. Whether it was Aegon, Aemond or Daeron, she didn’t care — it was Alicent’s son. And she says it clearly. She wants Aemond Targaryen. A prince. She’s no saint.
The fact that she suddenly kicks Daemon out because she no longer trusts him is absurd beyond words. Discovering after several years that your UNCLE is problematic depending on the situation is hilarious.
And I’m not even at the end of season 2… let alone season 3…
I’m moving on to another topic linked to Rhaenyra before getting to the Greens:
The Targaryen bastards. (The dragonseeds)
Calling on bastards from the poor and seedy districts of King’s Landing was stupid, vicious, and cruel.
These people have nothing! Their families are dying of famine and disease in the capital!
And she wants to give them dragons? Without telling them they’re going to be burned alive or eaten? Possibly both at once?
Giving dragons to bastards, when that was the only thing allowing her own bastards to sit on the throne through fear, is the way to destroy your reign. She left the biggest dragons in the hands of people seeking recognition. She and Daemon mock them.
FYI: Vermithor would eat Syrax in one bite.
Rhaenyra should have prayed to a god of strategy, because right now… she’s hammering the nails into her own coffin.
Alright… I’ll be nice and stop here with Team Black.
A side that claims to be virtuous but has sunk into denial, gratuitous cruelty, contempt for the law, and total political incompetence?
Get ready, Team Green. This is gonna sting.
Otto Hightower
Manipulator? Yes and no.
He is the Hand of the King. He sees what Viserys is: a weak king who is wasting away with time.
Any man in a feudal period would have done what Otto did to try to get his family on the royal side and his blood in the line, whether the king was young or old.
The fandom often calls Otto a monster, but it’s an excellent reading of the feudal system where the survival of a noble house depends on its ascension. Faced with a king like Viserys who is collapsing and an unpredictable Daemon, Otto acts pragmatically.
Why did he warn Alicent about Rhaenyra?
He saw how Daemon behaved with her and how the princess was. Having Alicent alone in the castle with her children, facing people who have dragons that can kill them and a Viserys who wouldn’t lift a finger? Otto understood before everyone else the deadly danger weighing on his own bloodline.
If Rhaenyra takes the throne with Daemon, Alicent’s children (the rival male sons) automatically become mortal targets.
Otto is not just power-hungry, he is anticipating an inevitable purge in a world where Viserys would never have lifted a finger to protect his children from the second marriage bed. He wanted to give his daughter some power to protect herself, but everything turned against him.
The greatest example of this failure was Aegon and Aemond.
But before moving on to those two, we have to talk about Alicent.
Alicent Hightower
Who in the show is roughly the same age as Rhaenyra, therefore older than Laena.
Her father makes her understand that she must keep the king company; she does it because it’s her only family in the castle. She has no mother to help and advise her. She’s a terrified teenager, manipulated by her father, with no maternal figure to guide her. Gwayne is still young and in Oldtown, so he can’t defend her.
Have children with a man who is much older than you, incidentally the father of your best friend who is starting to hate you while you understood her pain over the loss of her mother, endure successive pregnancies very young, all while seeing Rhaenyra enjoy total freedom and lie to you openly.
Don’t tell me you wouldn’t become bitter.
Her piety and moral rigidity in season 1 are only defense mechanisms in the face of a life of imposed sacrifices, while Rhaenyra does whatever she wants and never pays the bill.
Because yes. As said earlier, if Alicent had done a tenth of what Rhaenyra did so openly, even as queen in title, she would have ended up in a cell for treason and infidelity. The system forgives nothing to Alicent, while it always finds excuses for Rhaenyra.
The fact that she defends Criston Cole even though he killed someone at a royal wedding? First, it’s not right at all, and second, she finds in him someone who was disappointed by Rhaenyra. It’s the alliance of two beings eaten away by resentment: Cole is lovesick personified, and Alicent is rancor incarnate.
By saving Cole’s life, she buys herself a fanatical guard dog who hates the princess as much as she does.
I’m not defending Cole: his flip because Rhaenyra says no is a huge red flag. The way he talks about a future queen (whether competent or not) would have earned him a cut tongue, and knowing he shared her bed would have gotten him castrated. In any other reign, a Kingsguard knight violating his vows like that would have ended up at minimum at the Wall.
His behavior on the battlefield?
His behavior becomes more and more cruel. And in season 3?… This is not the behavior of an honest knight, but of an executioner. His so-called chivalric devotion was only a facade to hide his bitterness and cruelty.
Alicent’s alliance with Larys Strong?
A beginner’s mistake.
Having to show her feet for an assassination? You really think there will be no consequences? Alicent, who prides herself on morality and religious piety, agrees to lower herself to a creepy fetish in exchange for political murders, making herself a slave to Larys’ blackmail through lack of mastery of the political game.
The guy is ready to kill his own father and brother in a more-than-damp castle. Fire naturally hates humidity; it doesn’t just appear there. Someone who destroys his own blood to advance and gain the queen’s favor will never have any loyalty. She allied herself with a sociopathic monster thinking she was controlling a servant.
Alright.
I’ll let you catch your breath a bit.

Aegon II Targaryen.
Now here… We’re reaching the pinnacle of disaster.
He wasn’t educated, he’s been an alcoholic since a very young age. He rapes servants as well as young girls in the back alleys of King’s Landing, and he fathered many bastards.
We are shown a broken young man, cruel to Aemond.
A pure product of an absent father’s neglect and an overwhelmed mother’s paranoia, where family trauma is passed from generation to generation. He was forced to marry Helaena, and they had children very young, especially her. Forced marriage? Yes, by Alicent. Because Rhaenyra had proposed marrying Jacaerys to Helaena. An offer refused by Alicent even though it could have brought lasting peace. Out of pure resentment and refusal to see her daughter linked to bastardy, she herself locks the political trap and condemns her own children to the hell of this incestuous union, sacrificed on the altar of duty.
Yet? In the show, there is this fascinating paradox: he wants to spend time with his children, he doesn’t want to reproduce what he lived with his own father. Behind the debauched monster, there is the desperate will to break the cycle of family trauma and give his heir the recognition that Viserys refused him all his life.
But tragedy catches up with him. We see Aegon cry over the loss of his child and Alicent who doesn’t comfort him. She doesn’t really comfort Helaena either. It’s the terrible observation of her maternal coldness: incapable of offering the slightest human warmth, she remains a ghost mother in front of her own children broken by grief at the moment they lose everything.
The fact that he goes to war completely drunk? It’s the act of a cruel, broken and traumatized man who is trying to do what he can. It’s not the choice of a lucid general, it’s the suicidal gesture of a king humiliated by his council, shattered by grief and ravaged by pain, who rides toward the fire simply to prove that he exists, his worth, or to end it all.
Aemond Targaryen now.
A child humiliated because he didn’t have a dragon.
The day he claims one?
In return, he loses an eye. His father threatens his brother and him with cutting out their tongues if they call their nephews bastards… On top of his missing eye, he risks mutilation, while he sees his mother trying to assassinate the future queen and the bastards receiving no punishment… It’s cosmically unfair. I think many people would have developed a deep hatred from that moment. This is where the monster is born.
He grows up in hatred, his mother’s paranoia, a toxic Criston Cole, and a father literally rotting in front of the entire castle. His sister whom he loved was forced into marriage, and he was forced to go to whores by Aegon when he was young. His entire environment was designed to destroy him from the inside.
And in the show, a prostitute acts like a substitute mother? He walks around completely naked in front of everyone even though he’s a prince? Even though he hates that his brother goes to whores? The show’s writers have big problems with mothers...
Even more in season 3…
It’s a total contradiction for a character obsessed with control and royal dignity, reduced to poorly written trauma.
Is Aemond all green?
No, far from it.
He burns an entire village out of frustration because Rhaenyra has more dragons on her side and he was forced to turn back. As soon as he loses the geopolitical advantage, he vents his rage in a purely sadistic way on innocents, proving there is no virtue or honor in his methods, just destructive fury.
He thought he could manipulate a war beast like Vhagar, which caused Lucerys’ death. By playing tough at Storm’s End to terrorize his nephew, his arrogance completely overtook him. He triggered an apocalypse he didn’t have the maturity to control, becoming the prisoner of his own weapon.
And the further we go in the series, the uglier it gets. His moral drift and gratuitous cruelty completely erase the unjustly wounded kid and turn him into a fairground monster.
Daeron Targaryen.
This kid has nothing to do with this conflict. He was far away from the Red Keep. He is described as a good son and the opposite of his brothers. How can a child who wasn’t even at the castle have any connection with Jacaerys, Lucerys, Aegon or Aemond??? This kid ends up with his dragon having to go to war because of conflicts that are way bigger than him.
You see? Same seed, but not the same drifts.
Daemon Targaryen.
The guy still seduces his own underage niece, then takes her out of the castle at night, brings her into the city and then to the whores.
If his “Prince for a Day” line hadn’t already tipped you off: Daemon is a troublemaker.
His good sides?
Swift justice? Even if debatable, the smallfolk liked him because he did the work Viserys didn’t give orders for.
He participated in wars, which makes him the guy with the most experience on Team Black.
He has charm and knows how to use it.
The bad sides? Besides the ones already described?
He is impulsive and can be unpredictable. You can go from ally to enemy with one wrong word and depending on his mood.
Everyone says he is loyal to Rhaenyra except he runs off with Nettles in the books.
Nettles…
The show is a shame for removing her!
So back to Daemon.
He manipulates his niece to get the throne, runs off with Laena because he can’t have Rhaenyra (I’m talking about the show side, not the book. Don’t come bothering me with the Daemon/Laena/Rhaenyra throuple!).
He sleeps with Rhaenyra after his second wife is sent to the sea.
He leaves for Harrenhal instead of trying to calm Rhaenyra, which would have prevented a lot of bullshit from happening.
The guy could have gonorrhea and a lot of people would still adore him anyway.
Gwayne Hightower
Oh Gwayne…
If there’s one thing I thank the show for, it’s him.
It shows him as the perfect opposite of Criston Cole, Daemon and many other characters. He’s still down-to-earth without all the religious control. You see that he cares about his nieces and nephews. You see that he was the son neglected by Otto. He’s fed up with Criston.
His line about the value of knights… the guy would have been on Dunk’s side.
You’re going to tell me:
“You’re going hard on the Blacks!!!”
To which I will reply:
“Go complain to the screenwriters.”
I’m only bringing the behaviors to light. And don’t worry, Team Black, with season 3 I’ll have other things to throw at the Greens.
“You hate Daemon!”
Wrong. I love Daemon. And it’s because he’s a grey character. He has as much good as bad, even if season 2 destroyed him and I fear the worst for the rest of season 3.
I didn’t talk about Corlys, Rhaenys, Helaena, etc. At the same time, this post is already really long. If you want, I can tear down the allies of both teams, but that will be in another post.
You see? Good and bad. Team Green and Black, instead of insulting each other, reach an agreement. None of your sides is filled only with saints.

The setting sun left orange rays on the clear and calm waters of the narrow sea shores. The breeze softening the heat of this late summer day, the sound of regular waves as well as birds soothing hearts and souls. Dragonstone was not the capital, no noisy town below the castle, no obligation to meet nobles who came rambling on about their regional problems while spitting at the crown prince’s back as well as the rest of the royal family. No ravens delivering incessant messages.
Dragonstone, once a seat of war, had recently become a place of peace.
At least for two people.
They were sitting on the sand, Baelor only wearing a simple linen shirt and his pants. His shoes were placed not far from his body, allowing Baelor to feel the warm sand under his feet. Between his legs, Y/n was sitting her back against Baelor’s chest. She was wearing a simple linen dress, of her favorite color, her own shoes were placed next to those of Baelor.
Y/n could feel the heat emanating from Baelor. From his chest, and from his arms surrounding her curves, Baelor arm's where both protective and tender.
"You seem lost in your thoughts, my prince."
Y/n gently turned her head towards Baelor, her head naturally finding it's place against the prince’s shoulder.
"I’m just happy to be home."
"Home ?" Y/n smiled, a slight laugh escapes from her lips. "I doubt that you can call a castle a simple home."
"It is true. You are my home Y/n, in all these past conflicts, you are the one to whom I wanted to return. I am not just a prince in your presence."
A look of curiosity traveled inside Y/n light/dark eyes, without stopping Baelor, from speaking.
"I feel that I can be myself in your presence, just a man. Everyone sees me as the heir to the throne, many do not agree with my title because of the Dornish blood flowing in my veins." Baelor turned his head gently to look at her. "You look at me like a man. Just me."
Throughout this confession, Y/n’s heart begined to beat faster and faster.
"So, you just like how I look at you?"
"No." Baelor smiled softly, thinking about all the things he loved in her. "Besides your beautiful eyes, I love the moments we spend together. I like to see you in dresses with the colors you love, I like to see you dressed in colors from the Martell and Targaryen houses. I love your smile that illuminates every place where you are present. And even when you don’t smile, everything about your presence illuminates my world. I love your courage and your pride, I love the curves that are yours, because they are part of you. I like to feel your presence against mine, like now."
"Baelor..."
"Yes, my love ?"
"Why ?..."
"My words ?" Baelor saw Y/n nodding her head. "I am just a man in your presence. No longer a prince, heir to the throne. Just a man."
Y/n moved, allowing her to sit on her buttocks, face-to-face with Baelor, looking at him correctly, Baelor had left his beard growing for several months, although trimmed, it gave him older look. His mismatched eyes, showed such pure tenderness and love. That she could not stop smiling.
Baelor with his warm hands took Y/n’s hands, bringing them to his mouth, placing multiple kisses on them. From the tips of her fingers, pulling up each phalanx, he turned het hands continuing in the palms of his companion. His beard beginned to tickle y/n, she started to laugh. Baelor smiled at it with a new burst of malice in the eyes.
In a smooth movement, he moved Y/n, making her fall on the hot and soft sand who formed a cushions in her fall.
"Ah ! Baelor !"
Baelor didn't let her more time as he kissed her. He placed his large hands against the round cheeks of his companion. The smell of spices and plants from the bath of Baleor, intoxicated Y/n while her own odor of Y/f/f intoxicating Baelor.
As she was about to put her arms around him, as Baelor got up in a hurry, passed his leg over Y/n, lifting sand with his movement. Y/n turned her head in his direction, still in the cloud of the kiss. When blinking a few time, she saw Baelor starting to run, his feets lifted the sand, giving this moment an impression of mysticisme.
"You’re not serious."
Baelor turned around just to smile and laugh. Y/n shooked her head, before getting up at her own speed. Baelor waited for her at about ten meters and resumed his course when she approached too close. At this moment almost lost in time, both of them could afford to rejuvenate and leave the fears of the kingdom far from their minds.
I was rereading your Daemon x Dornish ex-courtesan and wanted to know if I could get a part 2 (angst with NSFW, if you write, otherwise, ignore), where their relationship is going really well, and her business too. Just like Daemon is doing well in his work as the commander of the City Watch. Every night, after a patrol, they stop by her establishment and are welcomed, while his men have fun with the girls. Daemon and the reader go to her office to spend some time together. One night, the establishment is running normally when a group of noblemen (drunk) start causing trouble (yelling, cutting the line, demanding to be served immediately, that kind of thing). Edna immediately goes to intervene, but it doesn’t work, and besides being insulted, the pior woman is assaulted (pushed or something like that). Reader sees the commotion happening and goes herself (she helps Edna and tells her to go inside). The man tries to demand service, but she says no, and they start arguing. He insults her and tries to attack her too, but Daemon and his golden cloaks arrive and ask what is happening. The man (who doesn't know about reader's relationship with Daemon) says reader (using an offensive term to refer to her) doesn’t want to let him and his friends in (he thinks he’ll get away with it because he’s a noble and Daemon is a prince, so he’ll side with him). Daemon tells reader to go inside while he handles it (he doesn’t kill the man but leaves him pretty beat up). When he comes back, reader notices he has blood on his hands. She says the drinks for the City Watch are on the house (as a thank you for the help) and drags him to her office. She takes care of his hand wounds in silence, and when she finishes, she looks at him: disheveled hair, armor, and the gold cloak, along with the sight of him defending her… all of it fills her with desire. She jumps on him and kisses him. Soon things get heated, but she wants to thank him for being so good to her, so she worships him. With loooooots of praise (her telling him how much she loves him, how much she appreciates him, how grateful she is to have him in her life, how she loves and appreciates the care he has for her and for those she cares about, etc.), love bites, orgasm delay, and whatever else you want. Basically, just Daemon being loved and appreciated by her, with as much detail and dialogue as possible, please? (Sorry for the amount of detail and feel free to ignore).
Bonjour/bonsoir.
Curves and Muscles in A Song of Ice and Fire Universe vs Our World
Don’t worry, this isn’t a history lesson. Just a discussion i wanted to have. Everyone is welcome to interact, of course. 🫶
Hello,
It's possible that you have never seen a post from me in the past, or that you have already read one of my fanfictions. In any case, my name is Emilie. Nice to meet you.
I would like to talk about the view of the body in the history of the Middle Ages and the one seen in *A Song of Ice and Fire*, *House of the Dragon*, *Game of Thrones*.
In history, the view of woman bodie's and men was different from now. In the Middle Ages, fat women and men were seen as having wealth, being noble, born from a good family. This body showed that people could survive famine and wars.
Fat women with wide hips were seen as more able to give birth, and childbirth was easier.
Fat men, if muscle was added underneath, were considered stronger and able to survive wars, to protect their families or kingdoms.
In art, whether painting or sculpture, the woman had curves and was considered beautiful.
And something important: today, the most well-known medieval representations of women aren’t the ones showing fat women. Yet, in the past, artworks showing fat women were more common and visible. It’s our modern lens ( and which pieces were preserved, highlighted, or made famous) that erased a lot of these depictions.
A man like the actor of “The Mountain”,
(Picture from Imdb. If anyone know a godd gif on Tumblr?)
Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, would have been courted by a large part of the population. (I recommend watching a “strongman competition" on YouTube, search his name and you will see him winning competitions.)
If Dunkan the tall, has a little fat on his muscles? Courted everywhere. (Even more than the assumptions from the books and fans.)
How should this concern you? Well, in the modern view of beauty, the bodies that were once considered starving and sick are now considered the ultimate beauty.
So no, I am not attacking anyone, I just want to be able to debate.
Debate about how Rhaenyra was shown as thin in the series, while in the books she is shown as chubby/fat. And desirable. (Daemon would never had so many children with her if he did not find her desirable.)
Yes, Robert was shown as fat in the first season of *Game of Thrones*. But during the Middle Ages, he would have been a desired man, even if he drinks too much.
So I ask you this:
What do you think of historical visibility? Should we have more fat bodies or strong fat bodies in historical/fantasy series?
If you want to ask a question or respond, anonymous questions are open as the commentary of this post and I will gladly answer you, of course with kindness."
I wish you all, a good night.
(Yes, I posted a little while ago about fat women’s bodies in history, to help women feel represented and know that they are loved by their favorite characters, but this time I want to open up the discussion even more.)

A = Aftercare (What they're like after sex.)
There is two way with Daemon. If your just a quick fuck/ new prostitute, there will be no aftercare. Maybe just a "good job".
But if your his lover. This is a new world. Daemon will help you clean and drink before going back into bed/do your day. Sweets words at his lips.
B = Body part (Their favourite body part of theirs and also their partner's.)
On him. Daemon love his hands. They are strong, and he know that it feel and feet perfect on your body.
On his partner. It's your lips. Daemon love to kiss you, at the see of your lips he cannot stop of imaginating the feel of your lips around his hard cock. Sucking him so sweetly that made him almost lose his mind.
C = Cum (Anything to do with cum.)
It will depend of if he's drunk or not.
If he's drunk, it will taste and smell badly. It will not be too strong, but suffisently for you to ask him to cum on your body and not in your mouth.
But when he's clean, his cum will taste good. His cum his not too thick. Just the right texture that made you want to drink of it.
D = Diry secret (Pretty self explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs.)
He love to watch you change of clothes, when he's hiding, seen you pleasuring yourself when you think he's not there and not seen you.
E = Experience (How experienced are they? Do they know what they're doing?)
Experience? This man know what he is doing.
He have his fair number of prostitutes. But having a true lover was different for him, he knowed how to take, but giving in return? It was a discover for him. A discover he learned to love.
F = Favourite Possition (This goes without saying.)
Will depend of his mood. If he's frustrated because of what happens in the city or wathever reasons. *cough* Hightower *cough* he would definitely choice doggy style. Been able to smack your ass as he's trusting in you.
If he's in good mood. Missionary. In it, he can see all your reactions as he's pleasuring you.
G = Goofy (Are they more serious in the mombt' or are they humorius, etc)
At the begining of the relationship/marriage. Daemon would be serious in the act. Only becoming more relax after few times, if your more of a goofy mood, he will follow you, his eyes sparkling in mischief.
H = Hair (How well groomed are they, does the carpet match the drapes, etc.)
He cut his hair, he do not shave completely, but maintain it so it will not bother you, his public hair are of the same color of his hair. If not a little darker.
I = Intimacy (How are they during the moment, romantic aspect...)
He love to praise you during the act, his hands never leaving your body, his voice a whisperer of a cry of love and pleasure.
Only if he love you.
If your a "simple" prostitute, there is no intimacy, this is just a transaction.
J = Jack Off (Masturbation headcanon)
Did he Jack Off ? Yes he does.
But not a lot of time. As you are there, and he don't feel the need of usng his hands on him.
The only need he would have is in the camp for the battlefield When at night he remember your nights together. He do masturbe. But his hands don't feel like yours, and this is frustating him.
K = Kink (One or more of their kinks)
Hair pulling on him, voyeurism, breeding kink (he want a big legacy), in public place, cockwarming, ...
L = Location (Favorite places to do the do)
His chamber, the halls of Dragonstone, the garden if the red keep, the throne, ... he love to fuck with you everywhere. Even on Caraxes if the dragon allowed it.
M = Motivation (What turns them on, gets them going)
Your existence?
Everything in you made him turn on.
If you want to be sure to fuck. Put back in place some lords, and his cock is up for you.
N = NO (Something they wouldn't do, turn offs)
Hurting you. Your too precious for him.
O = Oral (Preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc)
He prefers receiving. Not that he will never return it and as i have writted before. He love your lips. He's graving for your lips. If he's in a good moon, returning from a battlefield. He will eat you like a starving men.
P = Pace (Are they fast and rough? Slow ans sensual? etc.)
Daemon fuck with his emotions. (Even if he will never tell it) a bad day? He's fast and rough. Returning from battlefield? At first fast and rough and then slow and sensual, to made himself realize that you are not a dream.
Q = Quickie (Their opinions on quickies rather than proper sex, how often, etc.)
Daemon do not hate quickies, îthoses have happened more then once in some dark halls of the Red keep. He just prefer to been able to fuck you properly, at the rythme he would choice, to made you see stars.
R = Risk (Are the game to experiment, do they take risks, etc)
Did Daemon love to take risks in his live in general? Yes. Did he take risks during sex with you? Yes, but when he's young, (20 to 40 years), *cough* fucking in the dragon pit *cough*. Older he would prefer to no more fuck in public place that often, but will not ne against more role play.
S = Stamina (How many rounds can they go for, how long do they last...)
1 to 2 round before sleeping to take back energies and fuck with you again.
He will not take one hour of just fucking your pussy/ass or mouth. This men could pass multiples hours to make out with you, the actual fuck act, could take 20 minutes, when he will be really in the mood, to 25 minutes.
T = Toy (Do they own toys? Do they use them? On a partner or themselves?)
It will depend of his mood and his desire to tease you. In modern world he would have a box with multiples type of vibrator's. But in hotd time. There would be straps, using on him and you. And some aphrodisiac food.
U = Unfair (How much they like to tease)
The rogue prince not a teaser? He's the king of tease. His hand running slowly, on your tight during familly dinner. Some words tell in your ears as you dance together, his hands going low on your back, running on the upper side of your ass before going back in the middle of your back. That just a exemple of it.
He like been teased, is limit where lower then yours, that what he repeat himself, he just not patient.
V = Volume (How loud they are, what sounds they make)
He groans a lot. His head beside your ear, as he fuck you from behind. He moans your name, "good girl", telling you how you are magnificent whe blowing him. He would scream your name if you run the tips of your tongue on this specific place on his cock.
He will tell you how good you taste, when he goes down on you. Daemon is pretty vocal, until he will be in a grumpy mood, during this moment he will not talk, just left some groans.
W = Wild card (Get a randol headcanon for the character of your choice)
I not so secretly think that, Daemon would be into threesome, and foursome. Until one day he will try this with you. Everything was fine. It was a couple of noble that the two of you knowed and that you where confient in them. Until the moment, Daemon saw the look of sadness in your eyes, when you see him kiss the lady, and he saw red whe the lord touched you.
This end with a broken nose and a promise to not do it again.
X = X-Ray (Let's see what's going on in those pants, picture or words)
He will be in the norm. Not too long, not too thick. His cock will fit you perfectly, making full with each of his trust. Daemon is uncut, a vein running in his cock, that pulse when you lick him.
Y = Yearning (How high is their sex drive?)
1 to 2 round. Before sleeping with you.
But,
After taking back some energies. He's up for it again.
Z = ZZZ (... How quickly they fall asleep afterwards)
He will wait for you to fall asleep, before sleeping too, snoring soflty beside you. A arm around you, or his hand on your hips to keep physical contact with you.

Imagine going on a tavern during a travel with your S/o, the tavern seem clean, the food is good, the bedchamber you will pass the night is good looking.
Until the night fall.
First came little sounds, sounds of scratch on the floor, then little mouvements. You open your eyes, and look around. There is no light but the moon by the window. Everything seem normal the moment you move. Telling yourself that it's fine, you just imagined something. You lay down, cuddling with your sleeping S/o.
But the scratchs and mouvements begin again. You open your eyes. Looking around, until you see it.
The mass on the closet. The mass who are bigger then a mouse and smaller then a cat, and mostly. The big and long tail.
It's a rat. A rat that you have not see during the day. Your heart beated faster, your blood cold. You scream of the surprise/fear. Waking your S/o who think that you where attacked, taked his sword or a dagger.
Your S/o seen that there is no human in the room looked at you, not understanding what happening. He then look at the direction your shaking hand pointed.

As the younger sister to the Queen, you are left in King's Landing to find a good match after your father Otto Hightower is dismissed by the King. Daemon finds you instead.
HotD Masterlist
Despite the tragedy that had taken place during Princess Rhaenyra and Ser Laenor’s wedding celebration, most of the great houses had stayed in King’s Landing to continue the celebrations.
The atmosphere in the Keep was peculiar, between the drunken youngsters who drowned their shock in wine, and the older lords who ranged between bored and indifferent—the ladies, on the other hand, were clutching their pearls at the grapevine of rumors was thriving.
You hadn’t been involved at court very long. As the youngest daughter of the former Hand, Otto Hightower, you had been sheltered by your father from the idle talk of courtiers. Even so, you were aware of the greatest topic of conversation in the gardens.
The return of Prince Daemon at court, and the passing of his wife.
You had never seen much of the prince before he had left for war, as your Septa had kept you in the nursery, and when you weren’t enjoying the indoor activities fit for a lady of your station, the gardens were your only distraction.
You had of course heard the rumors, and the occasional complaint from your father at dinner, and you knew quite well to avoid the man’s company.
You could not deny you were curious, and there was an appeal to the Rogue Prince. Returning from the war with a mock crown and short-cropped hair, he had surprised everyone, even the king. The man had the silver hair of the Targaryens and their fiery temper, and for a young, sheltered lady as yourself, it was a welcome novelty.
Still, you knew better than to get caught in idle thinking, or worse, fantasizing about the man. You also knew that any passing fancy you might have had would be put to rest soon, as you were expecting to find a husband soon.
You were in a fine dress with delicate trimmings and embroideries, alone and loathing the prospective tea that awaited you in the gardens with the ladies Redwyne and Lannister. Both women were eager to introduce you to their young nephews, certainly hoping that as sister to the Queen, that you could secure them a lasting position in attending the king.
As you rounded a deserted corridor, hoping to find a moment of silence in a secluded alcove, you gasped as you almost collided with someone in your hurry.
Lifting your eyes from the ground, you realized the figure you had almost walked into was that of Prince Daemon. The man was grinning, visibly amused, and you couldn’t help but flush at your own clumsiness.
His piercing purple eyes creased at the corners as he greeted you, falsely deferent. “Lady Hightower,” his smooth voice resonated under the low ceiling of the alcove.
“Prince Daemon, my apologies,” you replied, less assured, with a trembling nod. Still, he did not step aside as would have been appropriate, but you knew the man was not known for his chivalry.
“Well, well, my lady, what has you in such a hurry?” he asked, lips parting to reveal white teeth.
“Nothing that concerns you, my prince,” you replied, pinched but polite. You forced your way past him, your hands lifting your skirts slightly as you made your way to the rounding staircase.
“I would have thought you’d have run back to Oldtown with your dear father,” Daemon crooned as you walked past him, the scent of your hair lingering in the air.
“My father has left me in the care of my sister, the Queen,” you replied, stopping to respond to him, chin raised in defiance.
He admired your fire, and the harsh way you always addressed him, self-righteous and defensive—he knew who had fed you this poison, and that if he were to ask how he had offended you, your father’s words would come out of your mouth.
“He also thought the court would be the best place for me to find a good match,” you continued proudly, hoping to convey the image of a noble lady with good prospects, rather than a frightened girl for him to mock.
“It is true, then, you are of marrying age,” he answered, and your show of pride didn’t seem to lessen his amusement in the least. If anything, he seemed delighted.
“Yes. I came of age during the spring,” you confirmed. “However I do not see how that concerns you, my prince. Good day,” you said curtly as you moved up the steps, but a large hand around your arm stopped you in your tracks—as perched as you were on the third step, the prince was barely taller than you, and it felt somehow even more intimidating to be in direct line with his piercing eyes.
“Not so fast, little mouse,” he said with a grin, and you couldn’t help the blush that rose to your cheeks.
“Remove your hand, please,” you commanded, but your voice wavered and your composure faltered.
You had learned to keep your interactions with the prince short and to the point, and he had never shown any interest in you as you were a mere child the last time he had seen you. Now you were a lady of marrying age, dressed to attract the most handsome suitor, and womanhood had carved your figure in the most enticing manner.
Daemon wasn’t one to look past a beautiful figure, or to ignore the freshest lady in search of a husband—those were always easy to make blush, easy to fluster and play with, and after four years of war, he longed for the crisp taste of fresh fruit.
There was also a perverse pleasure in putting his hand on the youngest daughter of the man who had plagued his existence at court. It tasted like a sweet revenge, and he wondered whether your lips would carry that taste—the sticky sweetness of retribution, and the satisfaction of plucking a fresh flower from a garden in first bloom.
“You will be married soon to the handsome son of a lord, or perhaps that lord himself will want your youth and beauty for himself…” he said, his other hand rising to your face, only to tuck a strand of your hair behind your ear.
The gentle gesture troubled you, especially from a man that never displayed any tenderness—you didn’t know if you could trust it, but part of you relished it in anyway.
“Many lords have come for the Princess’ wedding, I’m sure many of them have already set their eye on you,” he continued, and this time it sounded like a warning, almost like a threat.
It was true a few had asked for dances, but none had caught your attention nor pleased you in any way, and you shivered at the thought that one of them might ask for your hand.
“What do you suggest?” you asked despite yourself, your curiosity getting the best of you. Even though you had had limited interactions in the past, you knew the man wasn’t one for idle talk, and his words always had an endgame.
“Better your first taste of it be with a prince, rather than an old lord, don’t you think?” he asked, delight curling in his stomach at the way you obviously flushed down to your chest.
He ran the back of his knuckles from the hollow of your throat to the crease above the collar of your dress, your corset bringing your chest up. His little finger dipped into the valley between your breasts and you gasped, your flesh rising in goosebumps.
“This is inappropriate,” you gasped, and the hand retracted—instead he made a wide gesture to the staircase, silently inviting you to leave his company.
You remained where you were standing, and soon he was climbing the steps after you, forcing you to retreat. He backed you slowly into a small alcove in the wall, a dent where vases were sometimes put; he pressed you to the shelf carved into the stone, and soon you were the flower on display for his pleasure.
“What is inappropriate is an old lord lusting after such a sweet, young creature,” he said, his face dipping close to yours until the air around you was saturated with the scent of him. “Would you allow me a taste of your sweetness, little flower?” he crooned, his lips curling in delighted amusement.
Your voice had left you, and you could not deny how enticing the prince was. You felt slightly ridiculous, falling for a tale many ladies had before you, but the idea of kissing a prince exhilarated you. Your eyes fluttered as his mouth lingered over yours, barely touching you, and you made a soft sound in the back of your throat.
Your next sigh was swallowed greedily as he pressed his lips to yours fully, not wasting more than a second before dipping his tongue and tasting you. You allowed the kiss with trembling clumsiness, shivering as he pressed your mouth open.
So entranced as you were by his kiss, you barely noticed how his hand had reached down for your skirts, pulling them up until his warm palm was running up your thigh until it found bare skin above your stocking. You gasped as his hand wrapped around your leg, his thumb tracing half-moons dangerously close to the crease of your hip.
“What are you doing?” you asked, looking down at his wrist where it disappeared under the layers of muslin and linen.
“Showing you what you will not find in marriage,” he replied, self-assured, pressing his grin into the divot behind your jaw. His voice so close to your ear made you shiver and your hands came up to his chest, curling into the thick fabric of his doublet. “Just say the word, and I will let you go.”
Taking a deep breath through your nose, you shook your head, mesmerized as his wrist pushed up and soon his hand slipped under your smallclothes.
Your mouth dropped open as he found your core easily, and he wasn’t surprised to find you warm and slightly wet already. Your cheeks were flushed the loveliest pink and your eyes closed for a moment as he pressed his thumb where your folds met.
You shivered visibly under his hand, a soft moan rising from your throat—Daemon felt himself harden, victorious at being the first to please you. The darkest part of him wished for your father to be present at court, so that his little birds could chirp in his ear the terrible rumor that his enemy had defiled his own little girl.
Daemon instead found satisfaction in the way you rocked back against him, slowly at first, then more assuredly as you grew more familiar with the warm pressure at your core. The nub under his thumb hardened and swelled at his touch, a testament to your pleasure.
Your eyes were still fixed on his wrist where the fabrics of your skirts bunched, making a soft sound each time you ground up. He allowed you a few minutes of bliss, watching you raptly, taking in every minute flinch, every flutter of your eyes, every silent gasp.
“How lovely you are, little lady. How wet and pliant,” he hummed, and you flushed furiously as the indecent words.
To your shame, his praise only served to incense you further, a sharp lick of heat running down your pearl and setting your core on fire—an ache had lodged itself deep within you, and you didn’t quite understand it.
“Tell me, little mouse, do you ever touch yourself?” he asked, and you would have been outraged if you were not so entranced.
You shook your head despite your furious blush, biting your lip as he pressed harder, making you squirm under his thumb. You felt your flesh part around his finger as he prodded, spreading your wetness along your folds.
“No,” you replied feebly, and it only served to amuse him.
You were the most delicious creature under his hand, your obvious inexperience fueling your eagerness as you rocked back against his touch. It was obvious you had told a lie, and he wouldn’t allow you to get away with it, not since you were pinned under him.
He made a tutting sound, taking his thumb away as he continued to follow the crease of your folds, taking away your pleasure and leaving only a tease. “Please,” you whined.
“Tell me the truth, little mouse, and I will give you what you need,” he said, an edge of darkness in his tone, his eyes a deep purple as they bore into yours. You could tell he wouldn’t be pleased if you refused him, and that taste of danger only served to tighten the coil of arousal in your core.
“I touch myself sometimes,” you rushed to reply in one breath, stumbling over your words with your impatience, and he hummed, his lips twitching in the shadow of a smile.
“Only sometimes?” he pushed, but you couldn’t blame him for his insistence, as it came with a few firm presses against your pearl.
“It is unbecoming of a lady,” you breathed as he resumed a slow rhythm, his thumb drawing tight circles against your nub while one of his fingers circled your entrance. You clenched around the desperate desire to feel him press inside, but your virtue was still intact, and the prospective sting intimidated you.
Your eyelashes fluttered as you struggled to keep your eyes open; your entire body felt like it was floating above the ground, your knees weak and unsteady, your center of gravity dropping down to where the prince was touching you.
You were a lovely sight, and even though he hadn’t been chaste since returning from the Step Stones, he felt exhilarated at the prospect of taking your purity. You mewled as he pressed forward, teasing your entrance more firmly; you were wet, coating his fingers with your growing pleasure.
“I could take your virtue, right here and then,” he taunted in a murmur. “Or leave it for your husband to pierce it with his cock on your wedding night.”
“Please,” you pleaded, tears coming to your eyes, because the prince had been right—there was a frightening possibility that your match would not be harmonious, and you would rather be breached by a prince who was asking rather than a simple lord taking it as his right. “Please take it.”
Daemon’s mouth crashed against yours as he pushed his finger forward, the sensation as foreign as the sting was brief. He curled his knuckle inside, his thumb pressing slow and sweet against your pearl, his tongue prodding yours passionately.
If you had been floating before, you were now soaring, clinging to Daemon’s shoulders desperately as he kissed you, swallowing your moans.
“That’s it, little one, give it to me,” he breathed, his lips hovering over yours, and you were not certain of what he wanted from you—still you nodded and followed the pace of his hand, rocking up against him as your pleasure crested, the pressure inside your core mounting until it was unbearable.
You were speared to the spot, caught between his two fingers slowly pulling you over the edge, pressing on your pearl and curling against a sensitive place inside you. Unable to resist, to do anything but feel the wave of heat crash through you, you shook and trembled as your core pulsed.
Daemon chuckled against your neck as you peaked, your knees giving out. His hand on your thigh propped you up against the shelf, and you were grateful for the solid line of his shoulders under your clenched fingers.
“It’s done, little mouse. Your virtue fully belongs to me, now,” he crooned against the sensitive spot behind your ear, sucking a kiss into the soft skin.
You chuckled despite yourself, feeling free like never before, relieved of a burden you didn’t even know you were carrying—your limbs felt light and loose, your core clenching in aftershocks that spread a delicious weightlessness down to your very bones.
He slowly let you go, and you sagged against the wall, your hands coming to catch yourself on the stone shelf. You looked away in embarrassment as the prince wiped his fingers on the inner layer of your dress before releasing it. Your skirts fell back into place and he stepped away, hips and shoulders swaying slightly, his lips pulled into a satisfied grin.
You smoothed your clothes almost nervously, breathing out a sheepish chuckle, wondering if he was expecting you to return the favor somehow—instead he turned to make his way up the stairs, and your heart skipped a beat.
“Prince Daemon,” you called, slightly panicked, the reality of what you had just done crashing down on you.
“There is more of that where it came from, if you were so inclined,” he replied, throwing you a knowing glance over his shoulder, and as he disappeared down the corridor, you swore you heard his dark chuckle echo under the high ceilings.

Comment if you'd be interested in being tagged in a part 2, or in any future Daemon fic of mine.
At least for mariage, as historicaly people's who where plus size/chubby where the peoples who suffer the less of famines/having less food.
This is an interesting point you brought up. In our real world, royals being plus size was common and likely trendy among them because it was pretty much a statement that ya know they could afford to eat plenty. But in the world of Westeros, Rhaenyra is looked down upon for her weight gain after having kids while Alicent is praised in the book for keeping a slim figure after 4 kids. But perhaps this is just an example of bias against Rhaenyra because clearly many men found her desirable still lol.
Totally with you on this.
Without forgetting that it's men's who write about her. Its like one thing that I have read. "Woman with little hips are those who have better chance to have good pregnancy." It was a men who have told this. When in reality. When you have bigger hips it's more easy... 🙄😮💨 (and I have made my research to be sure of this.)
So having people's in Westeros looking down at Rhaenyra is like jealousy and hypocrisy. When she would have been congratulate for her pregnancies who have end well. From her first and second marriage.
And with the show don't showing a "chubbier" Rhaenyra, you can tell that it's the modern world who go wrong with history/the accuracy of the books. They don't wanted to show her chubbier. Because "Oh no! Been fat/chubby/plus size is gross!!" 🙄🙄🙄
(If you want to continue to talk about this, I would love it)
