this song is so good

twas co produced with arca, who is obviously awesome (and worked on yeezus)

** additional thoughts:

the more i get to know twigs the more i like it.  like, this is so brutally intimate, her vocals are so upfront and so untouched production wise (except for the low voice thing)

it also feels like, explicitly ‘internet’ music.  i dont really know how this could be done live, but i really like that about it.  i hate thinking when im making something like ‘how am i gonna do this live??’ i mean im sure she’ll find a way and im sure it’ll be awesome but i like how compared to most music happening right now this seems really intentionally about the experience ofthis particular recording of it rather than selling tickets to some future live shows or whatever.  

+ the beat is also just.. mindblowing.  its like achingly simple and then the chorus is so insane.  it reminds me of the sound design on existenz (the cronenburg film)  it is really unique 

especially with this footage as context, it reminds me of what the sound design at the beginning of antichrist would be like if it wasn’t music lol
