well. I have applied to over 100 jobs (not an exaggeration i have a list) in the last 3 weeks and have been declined officially by seven of them anddddd i just bought groceries and paid my phone bill and officially have $10 in cash to my name and whatever change is in my car.

I lose my housing on the 30th and I am honestly terrified which I haven't said out loud yet until now so ✌🏻

I have been rationing my gabapentin and duloxetine (my two nerve pain meds) so that I don't have to refill them because I can't afford to pay the refill copay. Which has been causing a lot of flares.

I am having a wonderful time right now /s

an alien is investigating the workshop of its human and reaches with interest toward a cutting implement. fabric scissors, the human says, waving splork off. splork burbles, tries again. and this? rotary cutter, for leather. those are sewing scissors. general craft knife. craft knife for paper. knitting needles. crochet hooks. sewing needles.

splork doesn’t understand why the human came to the workshop. none of these items seem—

It was important to shift who made the runs using randomized intervals in order to avoid any patterns the Empire could track. Given their lengthy respite, Callie suggested the crew return to Roan. She knew all too well that these quiet moments came few and far between, that time with loved ones could be all too ephemeral.

“The lake would be wonderful.” She said to Gregor. “This time of year would be perfect for a swim.”

Gregor giggled, a high pitched titter that never failed to make Callie giggle in return. “I don’t have a thing to wear if we swim, Little Bird.”

Starlight from outside the cockpit danced and twinkled in her eyes. A mischievous smile stretched across her face. “I hear the Pecora don’t wear anything when they swim.”

Gregor giggled again, a blush colored his cheeks as his smile mirrored hers. “Well, when in Roan,” he said. And the two set course.

Instead of the new dogshit Odyssey film you should watch Iphigenia (1977). It’s made by actual Greek people and focuses on a mother-daughter relationship to explore how women are sacrificed by powerful men in times of war. Also the main actress has the face of an angel 🙏 the whole movie is available on YT with English subtitles.

Same pattern, different modifications. The parts that made me question my sanity the most: on the left, the double 500+ stitch Latvian Braids, and the fact that I had to remake it three times because the colors kept bleeding even after pre-washing the yarns; on the right, FOUR i-cord loop braid sections, and several false starts before I finally got the colors right 🫠

BTW if the one on the right makes you go "haha cool that middle bit kinda looks like a Stargate" that was ON PURPOSE. These are both Fanart for my Teen Wolf/Stargate crossover series ❤️
