headcanon that the bad batch bois can hardly ever sleep peacefully unless they’re all sleeping in the same room/ship together.

they’ve been stuck with each other for probably almost their whole lives, and are obviously very attached to one another. we saw that they all shared a special room in the first episode of TBB (unlike the special “pod bunks” we see in TCW). on the marauder, it looks like they all sleep in bunks close together there too. so they’re pretty much with each other 24/7. so sleeping apart from one another has to feel so strange and disconcerting to them.

even when echo joins, he’s pretty much the same way. sleeping alone is too scary for him; after what happened on Skako Minor, being alone for too long freaks him out. and he DEF has nightmares for a long time, if not nightly. and the norm for the rest of the batch is to sleep near each other, so they have no issue with him sleeping close by one of them.

they’re so used to each other’s little quirks at night that it’s comforting to them. tech’s tinkering, wrecker’s snoring, crosshair’s restlessness in his sleep, echo’s prosthetics clicking or creaking when he’s moving, etc. if they try to sleep apart from one another, they end up going into the other’s rooms and sleeping on the floor so they can feel safe and comfortable again

Then Order 66 happens and Crosshair is not with them anymore.

The other are still able to sleep even if it’s hard but they still have one another, but Crosshair has trouble sleeping and often just collapses from exhaustion because he just can’t find any sleep.

A chip in his head controlling him, surrounded by people he doesn’t trust, he just can’t seem to find any rest. The nights he did found some sleep were not really pleasant and he doesn’t feels rested at all.

Tantiss was the worst, the times he was sleeping where times he was knocked out by the drugs Hemlock pumped into his body, leaving him sore and exhausted. He was cold and alone, locked up in a small cell with no comfort whatsoever. But Crosshair thought that he deserved it, after everything he’d done, he deserves this.

Then Omega got him out and brought him back home. The first night back on the Marauder felt surreal, it was familiar, the smell and the sounds but he felt like it’s not his anymore, maybe he shouldn’t be here. The small hand taking his own begged the differ, Omega guided him to her room, telling him that Wrecker made it for her and talked with him throughout their travel to Pabu.

On Pabu he found sleep, being surrounded by his sister and brothers gave him enough security and he was able to finally get some rest in, tho they were cut short from nightmares of what Hemlock did to him so instead of sleeping he went down to the lagoon to train.

It was after Tantiss was destroyed and they all went back to Pabu, Crosshair was finally able to sleep.

No nightmares, no fear, just the warmth of his family around him holding him tight while he slept peacefully for the first time since Order 66.

I have something to say.

So I just found out one of my fav actors died today :”P

Sam Neill, he died being 78 years, his family said that it was sudden and unexpected but he died surrounded by his family which I find nice, no one should die alone. He battled Blood Cancer but his death was unrelated to it because he was Cancer Free (If you want to know more details you can look it up)

I knew him from Jurassic Park.

Jurassic Park is my favorite movie ever, (which is shocking maybe because all I talk about is Star Wars xD) But his Role as Doctor Alan Grant is just so cool and I loved seeing him return in JW Dominion.

But Sam was also in other movies, and is doing an amazing job in them.

It is sad that he’s gone now but he lived a happy life, he left his footprint in the world and I doubt he will be forgotten.

Rest in Peace Sam Neill, thank you for everything you gave us!
