Hey heyyyy, random urge to draw the batch, mostly Hunter & Omega, as Paniolo has brought me from my grave!! Heavilyyy inspired by @emisonic_ ‘s Wild West TBB AU.

I’m truly so in love with the idea of the batch living their days on a ranch as Paniolo 🥹🥹 I’ll try to keep the ball rolling and draw the others in this AU~

Also cowboy hats are hard to draw 😭

Pulled an all nighter out of nowhere WOW- the remake really made me appreciate the original even more so- the storyline is beautifully written with such love and care.

So I decided to do my own spin on their designs— I didn’t change Nani’s design, since she’s PERFECT, love that woman I see so much of myself in her at my age now 🥹 - just toned down the color palette and tweaked her face to fit my style and gave her a bangle, because cmon, you’re not an island girl if you don’t have at least one bangle.

Lilo I definitely worked on the most to highlight her quirky rambunctious personality and gave her a more realistic outfit— I reminisced outfits I would wear at her age in the early 2000s- turned her dress into a shirt and gave her a jean skirt, because I imagine she goes through a lot of clothes and Nani opts for jeans since they are sturdy— I thought adding stitches and patches was a perfect touch because I can see Nani having to repair her clothes and Lilo trying to learn along side her.

Stitch obv I didn’t have to change either just tweaked for my style— ngl his design is a little tricky ;w; but I love it when hes grumpy hehe

Revisiting this has been a fun challenge and redraws really help me get back into art— aimed to make their expressions and posing more natural. Also tweaked their outfits a bit.

IVE CRAWLED OUT OF MY GRAVE- seeing the #starterpacknoai trend has been so fun and I had to jump on.

It feels great to finally hunker down and draw, I fear I’ve fallen into an art block 😭 which really stings when I look back and see this time last year I was pumping out pieces like no tomorrow— but, I shall be kind to myself and my first love, art 💗

Review:

An arrogant duke looking to find the perfect duchess, a school teacher trying to save her school, and a complicated past with a touch of Pride and Prejudice in this cute second chance romance. Phoebe Atkinson is not perfect by societal standards, she's a school teacher who isn't afraid to speak her mind and fight for the rights of others and despite coming from a wealthy family she chooses to move out on her own and make her own path. Phoebe's beloved school is in trouble and when one of her students goes missing she has to beg the one person she never wanted to for help, her sister's best friend, the powerful Duke of Ellis, William Margrave... and the one man she was in love with before he broke her heart. William never wanted to inherit the dukedom, but when he did he felt pressured to make sure he was the perfect duke and that means finding the perfect duchess. What he doesn't need is to find himself falling for a meddling, infuriating, and absolutely charming schoolteacher who doesn't want anything to do with his dukedom and who he abandoned when he became a duke. As Will helps Phoebe he begins to realize that he might be seeing his best friend's sister in a whole new light... and that despite her not being duchess material she might be exactly what his heart wants.... if only he could convince her to give him a chance. Can two people who live distinctly different lives, find a way to be together, and get everything they could want. This was a really cute read complete with touches of Pride and Prejudice moments. I really liked the way you got to read from both character's POV and that and how the story has the romance reversed, with Phoebe used to being in love with Will and now is trying not to be in love with him while Will used to not be in love with Phoebe but is now very much in love with her and trying to get her to fall for him. It's a fun historical romance and one I'd definitely recommend for anyone who wants a good read!
