ophelia-sinclairâ:
Opheliaâs cheeks heated up the moment Easton and his mates walked onto the sidelines with pom-poms and letters painted on their chests that spelled out her name. Her teammates were giggling along with her, though she knew most of the girls were green with envy. Part of Ophelia didnât think heâd actually come to her game to cheer her on so publicly. It was definitely difficult to keep her head in the game when all she could do was steal glances at him and his cocky smirk from the sidelines. God she wanted him.Â
Ophelia played her heart out, no matter the distraction mostly wanting to impress Easton with her play. She was thankful the game had gone her was and although she had only assisted in the only goal their team had still won and that was a success for Phe. After a few words from the coach Ophelia grabbed her bag and headed over to the fan sidelines sauntering up to Easton. âLooking good E, I see you went with a better option than borrowing my cheer outfit.â she teased. âYou know I didnât expect this big of a performance, I have to say Iâm thoroughly impressed.â she was sure the red blush from the beginning of the game was back on her face as she smiled at him. @eastxnh
did easton go easy on ophelia to let her win the bet? maybe. after all, he was no stranger to how to play the game. you have to give a little to win in the long run sometimes. and what was the prize at the end? câmon, did he have to spell it out for you? if he had to show up to the girlsâ football game with pompoms to cheer their captain on, then he could at least make it look like he did it intentionally and not because he lost a bet. so, it was go big or go home. using the captain card on some of his teammates, he managed to rally enough of them to show up to the game with opheliaâs name spelt out on their chests. it was a chilly autumn day, but knowing these lads, theyâd take any excuse to show off their biceps and abs. especially at a girlsâ football full of, well, girls.
it was a close match, which thankfully made the game more interesting to watch. there was nothing worse than having to sit through a shitty game of football full of shitty players. but thanks to eastonâs A+ drills and tips (or heâd like to think so anyways), ophelia and her team won the game, narrowly by one point. everyone on the stands cheered, him and the boysâ football team being especially loud and rowdy. stepping around the crowd leaving the game, easton made his way over to the blonde. âya, i think your costume wouldâve been a bit snug on me,â he chuckled, his hand motioning at his body as if to prove his point. flashing her a cocky grin, he replied, âyou girls support the boysâ team at all of our home games. itâs only fair that we return the favour, right? and, yâknow, being captain has its perks.â
