I guess if you could describe what has happened to me with one picture this would be it. I came to India with limited expectations. I didnt want to overthink it, or expect too much, but my expectations would have never touched the reality of this transformation. I sit on the plane and I keep reminiscing on all the connections I made and thinking of all that my teachers/gurus taught me and I can't even describe all the ways I have changed. I am so grateful for all of it. If India doesn't change you as a person, you must be a robot. India gave me a lesson on how to live simply. I did not want for things while I was there, I just accepted what I had and was so grateful for it all. A lot of people said to "brace myself for the amount of poverty", funny I didn't see any poverty, these people live life content and happy with what they have day by day. I've seen people with loads of money that are more poor than the person you may call a "beggar". I am blessed beyond words. I really wish I could sum it all up but it's too big and for that I am eternally grateful. I'm grateful to India, to my teachers, to each and every one of my fellow students, to my family for the endless support, to my girlfriend for being amazing and holding it down at home while supporting me every step of the way, and most of all MYSELF for choosing to take this time for me, to chase some dreams, achieve some goals, and to find myself and I accomplished all of that! The strength and fire inside of me is burning as hot and as bright at that sun in the palm of my hands!!
