“Some runs make you feel invincible. Some runs make you feel defeated. Every run makes you stronger.”
I need some more inspiration on my dash!
Re-blog if you are a fit/health blog and i WILL follow you <3
I’m posting this photo because not only is it of a healthy woman, but because I think that we sometimes can lose the run of ourselves on tumblr. We shower ourselves with pictures of teeny tiny bodies that, yes, are healthy; but are also not totally achievable for some people. Some people’s body types mean that they will never be a size 0,2,4 whatever-no matter how toned and trim they become-and that’s okay. The message I want my blog to send, the message I want my followers to receive, is that healthy body comes in all different forms. You might not have a visible six pack, a thigh gap, tiny hips and perfect proportions, but that doesn’t mean you’re not ‘fit’ and it certainly doesn’t mean you’re not an inspiration to others.
#transformationtuesday I understand that some of you may think I look better on the left. I completely understand that, but I would have to firmly disagree. Considering I weighed in at 98 lbs this morning, I felt it was time for a progress picture. The girl on the left would go on five mile runs and half hour elliptical sessions every day. The girl on the left would eat an apple, a cup of oatmeal, and buckets of coffee a day, thinking that that would be enough to sustain a healthy lifestyle. The girl on the left hid away in her bedroom looking up recipes on Pinterest that she knew she would never recreate. The girl on the left made her mom throw up from heartbreak when she stepped on the scale and showed her mom how low her weight had gotten. The girl on the left made her family miserable. The girl on the left threw a tantrum when her mom asked her to have a glass of milk. The girl on the left stuffed food into her socks when her parents were not looking. The girl on the left was dying. I never want to be the girl on the left again. Today, I am the girl on the right. The girl on the right laughs and smiles. The girl on the right goes out to the movies with her mom. The girl on the right participates in the dinner conversation. The girl on the right challenges herself everyday. The girl on the right gets to eat pints of ice cream. The girl on the right has a future. The girl on the right is going to fall in love and have kids one day. The girl on the right is who I choose to be. The girl on the right is who I choose to be every day for the rest of my life. I am not weight restored, but I think I look pretty damn good. I can HONESTLY say I like how my body looks in the second picture better than in the first. Just look at the facial difference. And am I fat? ABSOLUTELY NOT. I am getting healthy! I will never go back to the girl on the left.
I am in tears
I’m crying. this is beyond beautiful
this is amazing
THANK YOU.
She also states 2-4 servings a day. A serving of fruit is about a cup of fruit or half a cup of dried fruit.
I wanna say there is a thing as too much fruit, but I’d rather fill up on too much fruit, rather than having the space in my stomach to cave into unhealthy food choices.
EAT YOUR DAMN FRUITS
Want to work out with a buddy? Try some of these exercises:
Handclap plank - both starting off on the ground, raise yourselves up with one arm and slap hands, alternating each time.
V-sit side touch & pass - never declining and holding the v sit, twist and touch both sides and then pass the mediball off to your partner. Both must always twist and touch.
Mediball crunch - get your partner to stand over you and lock your feet into their legs. Crunch up, pass the mediball to them and come back down, then crunch up and grab the mediball again, repeat.
Crunch & stand - Crunch and using your core stand up, throw two punches when you reach the top, then lower yourself back down. Make sure your partner gives you a slight pull on your legs when you’re coming up!
Have fun with these! x
Peach Donuts Glazed with White Chocolate & Pistachios
Ingredients
8-10 ripe donut peaches 100gr raw cacao butter 40gr powdered raw brazil nuts or macadamias 4tbsp agave powder pinch of ground vanilla bean 1/3 cup finely chopped raw pistachios
To prepare the peaches, use a paring knife to cut around the middle and carefully remove the pit. Then peel off the skin with your hands. If it is too hard to do, then the peaches are not ripe enough. Freeze peaches for about an hour. In a bowl, combine cacao butter, ground brazil nuts, agave powder and vanilla. Place over a pot of hot water and let it melt, stirring so that everything is well combined. Now dip each donut peach in the melted white chocolate once. The chocolate will set fast because the peaches are frozen. Dip a second time and before the chocolate sets, press on side of the donut in chopped pistachios. Repeat with all donuts.
Guys. GUYS! This is just insane. DO YOU SEE THIS? I’ve just been sitting here in awe. I’d go lighter with the nuts, but DAMN THOSE LOOKS GOOD! I want peaches to be in season RIGHT NOW OMG.
GENIUS. I bet I could come up with an awesome LFRV sauce (vanilla date caramel with chopped dried berry sprinkles?). I am so making these.

Don’t miss a chance at spending time with friends or having a relationship because you need to workout or you worry about eating out.
