Hey! I wanted to ask how you feel about the idea of having a tattoo of your work?

so earlier this year there was a tattoo artist (whom i had never heard of) that posted a tattoo work they did of one of my artworks without any prior permission or notification. they just took my art and permanently tattooed it onto someone, and honestly it made me feel very uncomfortable. the fact that someone had thought it was okay to take an artwork that doesn’t belong to them and use it as their own design without permission from the original artist made me feel uneasy and even kind of exploited. I’d like to think it wasn’t their intention to offend me, but that’s how i felt and I’d appreciate it if people didn’t take my art and ink it into their skin without at least asking me first.

that being said, i’d be happy to discuss with you if you’d like a tattoo design of one of my existing artworks, then we can talk about the size/price etc. i’m also open to separate tattoo design commissions, so if you’re looking for a custom made tattoo design from me I’d be happy to work on that with you as well!
