3 years ago I cut my hair the shortest it's ever been. I wanted to try something new. At the time I started working in a new workplace. One day my new co-workers were talking to me. I walked away after our conversation was over. I took a few steps before I heard them make comments about my hair. Anyone else would shrug it off, but it hurt me. They made me question my femininity. It made me reflect on how much value we put on our appearance, especially hair. Eventually I got over that moment. But I wanted to get it out of my system for good. Anyways, moral of the story is don't let anyone put you down for your appearance. Do what you want with your body and haters can take a hike.
