A very very loud part of me thinks it looks best with just flat colors, and the other, quieter, but pissier part of myself doesn't want my 3+ hours of rendering to go to waste.

Funny you ask, I actually haven’t quite decided if Danny will even have his ghost powers at all. But if he did I’d imagine it would be something like this:

I’d imagine Danny would bring it up immediately, excited to be a ghost like him. Even if he didn’t tell him, Vlad would find out almost immediately on his own anyways haha.

When it comes to Danny, I think he’d have Trouble putting two and two together, since Vlad does a pretty good job keeping his secret being able to duplicate and all. I wouldn’t say he hates Vlad as much as he does in canon but he definitely thinks he’s weird for staring so much and being a little too eager to be around him.

But this is all hypothetical anyway. I am leaning towards Danny having no ghost accident at all. I think it keeps things more simple.

But thank you for the ask! And thanks for enjoying the AU so much. I absolutely look forward to the fanart you’ve come up with, ghost Danny or not hahaha.

I’m so in love with this AU! Danny is a fan of the Wisconsin Ghost? Cute! And furry? CUTE! I drew a little animation for it, but obviously, I can draw furry, so I just added ears and a tail to the character. Also, I’m really not very good at using Tumblr—I don’t know how to improve the quality of the imported animation so it doesn’t look so pixelated... If you’d like a clear version of the GIF to keep in your album, I’ll find a way to get you a higher-quality version!

Maddie's ponytail! I can't help but think that they both put their ponytails together, instead of holding Danny's hand when he's working, he'd grab his tail, it would be so cute, Vlad's hands are full of paperwork and Danny is holding his tail so he doesn't move

Some thought process under the cut!

I've always wanted to depict chronic pain or waves of pain with red circle-ish pattern, well There's finally a piece where I can use it! Super happy! It's the big chunks of circle shapes centered on him, and they're supposed to represent radiation & radiation pain!

Also I have no idea how to represent the "human turning into ghost" theme outside of his body, I used red blood transitioning to green blood in the end and it just looks like his human blood was blasted out of him lol, I hope I get it across
