Summer: I think I'm ready to tell you what happened that day, my therapist said it may help to talk to a family member who understands me. He killed my mom in front of me. I was doing homework, they were arguing and she told him we are leaving that she'll file for divorce. I was already packing up my homework when I walked in the kitchen he grabbed her, threw her against a wall I went to Run over to help, but slit her throat in front of me. I couldn't move, but when I noticed him moving towards me I screamed and I guess the neighbors heard the fight because the cops arrived and broke the door down. That's why I always experiment with drugs and don't like being sober.

Eli: ...
Eli: Damn, Summer. I'm surprised you're still upright and talking. I'm so sorry. I really had no idea. I mean, I knew what happened, but I didn't know you saw it all.
Eli: I don't blame you for not wanting to be sober.
