Echo lore update! I know I've been dead, and will probably get deader! I can't remember if I said it in my last update or not, but here it is again regardless.

I am free from retail! I am warehouse jobbing it up (and by "it" I mean the job, lol). My mental health is incredible right now, the highs of leaving retail🙏

In addition, I've gotten into graduate school🥳 I actually had my first class the other day and it's going to go crazy I think :3 Kinda crazy to do more homework and more school, but we ball overall.

I'll still be writing it up (writing extra because I'll be getting a masters in creative writing😈) but my slow content push is going to get even *slower*

you can never go home because you fell asleep for a thousand years and when you woke up and returned there, your society had changed, your house had fallen and all of your friends were dead. you can never go home because you made a choice and were shattered into pieces and your home was destroyed in your wake. you can never go home because someone took you and changed you against your will and although your home is the same, the person who belonged there is dead. you can never go home because you committed a crime and your family expelled you and even as they extend a hand of reconciliation, you will never forgive them. you can never go home because your home was a person and someone murdered her and now you drift and grieve to the point of insanity. you can never go home because you never knew your sister but she gave you every opportunity you have and now she's dead and your parents see nothing but her in your eyes.

What's this ? The first part of the participant list for the summer edition of our fanzine ? In september ? How odd !

You heard me right ! The fanzine is coming soon, and with the arrival of this edition comes another wave of participants ! Some familiar faces and many new have participated to bring this edition to life with even more pages than last time !

Here are 18 of our 41 participants ! Next batch should be coming in the next few days, and the Fanzine itself coming at the very end of next week (the 21) if all goes well.

I'd also like to apologise for the delay, a lot happened resulting in the zine being finished later than first anticipated, thank you everyone for your patience :)

Even before they became Admins I like to think they trained together and Xara has always been that little bit stronger. Romeo, as much as I like to bully him, is likely quite strong too. His problem is that he flinches. He cracks under pressure. He isn't as sure of himself as Xara is. She could easily catch him off guard and pin him down, even if he *was* stronger than her. I'm quite confident that Romeo is a dead man if he encounters Xara post adminhood 💀

He is definitely the fighter YESSS I AGREE his banner is literally a sword and have you SEEN the gladiator dome that is ROMEOBURG? Love love love loveee the idea of him becoming physically weaker and depending more on his powers after the Admins fallout. But before the fallout, I imagine that, for all his cockiness and strength, he always hesitated around Xara when he had an opportunity to strike. He took fighting seriously during training bc he always wanted to get stronger, but never quite had the heart to throw a sucker punch at Xara when it would have mattered most yknow </3 I like the idea that he absolutely CAN and SHOULD win, but doesn't. He probably did beat her a few times. Xara would hype him up by getting in his head and telling him to picture her as someone he wants to take his anger out on ect ect and then WHAM 💥 Xara falls and Romeo apologizes profusely and lets her win the next three sparing matches

Picture pre witherstorm Jesse, since their characters are made to reflect one another. Determined and strong, but just a litttttle bit pathetic when it matters most

Romeo was able to defeat Xara and Fred when he went wacky bc he wasn't letting his soft side hold him back. These weren't his friends to him, at least, not in that moment. The regret set in later, but he did eventually learn to take Xara's words to heart... just in the worst way. To commit to his actions and not look back.

Hi fun fact, colors do have meaning and there is a legit thing called color theory. Red does has more positive connotations than negative like the @mintymaiden said. Red is associated with more love, lust, passion than blood and death just like the chart shows you but If you want, here’s a link for you to check it out yourself. like, color theory doesn’t exist in a vacuum. If your design of choice for Blood Red Paint is asymmetric splatters and sploches against the wall, or in this case, a snail trail on the hallway’s floor, an infographic won’t override the viewers’ instinct.

Just had an incredible weekend with the amazing @dragonbma and @dingdawny it was amazing to share a con experience and travel with you both🫶

Now, I ain't posting my face, but just know that I slayed. I was Choso from jjk on day one, and I normally have super curly hair, but I straightened it and I got told I should do that hairstyle more often so💅💅 and then I slayed equally as hard as Frieren from Frieren on day two, and Lust from FMA:B on day three.

I got to meet Mister Blanc three times‼️ Once as moral support for Bermuda and Dawn (he gave me a hug). The second time as to get Jarsh Jarsh from this goofy Pokémon image one my other friends pulled from Google. For reference, Jarsh Jarsh is from the King Julian TV show. J.B. said that me and my other other friend were the first to ever get something for Jarsh Jarsh signed😈. And the third, I was getting a signed print for a friend who wasn't able to make the con as a late college graduation gift. He said we were a good bunch (of friends), which I think is one of the most gratifying things that has ever been said to me.

The first time, where I was moral support, he clocked Dawn and Bermuda as Romeo fans (it was incredibly funny), and then he ended up doing the Vos and Romeo voice (super cool). All in all, he was super nice, super chill. I would describe him as dad shaped, super friend shaped :)

All in all², the entire weekend was a delight to experience, and I would love to plan something like this again🫶
