While I love the anime giving us iruna etelero just as much as the next person (sometimes I listen to it on loop while studying for my exams), I think that originally Lindel's song was meant to have no words at all:
Looking at the page and at Chise's description of the song, I just feel like it was entirely vocal. I mean, right after this Lindel even talks about music that existed before words did. It'd be pretty weird for him to say this if there were any words in his song.
Maybe what Lindel is singing is a joik/yoik, even. He is Sámi, after all. Joiking/Yoiking is their traditional form of singing, and lyrics are not necessary for singing a joik as far as my research goes (of course I'm not an expert, though). It's also considered to be one of Europe's oldest surviving musical traditions, which also really fits into what Lindel is saying.

Lindel and Elias
Master Lindel will swear up and down to anyone willing to listen (which, considering that the young dragons are too busy playing, is really just Merituuli) that he isn't worried about the children. It is the most blatant lie Merituuli has ever heard: He's constantly splitting hair and losing sleep over them. But it is also most certainly the funniest, so Merituuli will let this one slide.
Lindel: the frazzled mother to three magus children he does not remember asking for, and his familiar Merituuli, who is too busy laughing to be of any help.
Inspired by this panel from Lindel the gourmet:

Bridget had that star quality right from the start!
they tie their clothes the same way
Theyre so mother and son, Lindels kinda rude to her tho
Super ancient in age, but looks and behaves like a bratty teenager. 😋
filed under: im working on a different post and once again found something else i want to mention separately
the supplements talk about how lindels fashion has always featured a mix of male and female indigenous clothing because he lives apart from human society and thus has no way of knowing what clothing "matches" his gender, but rather wears whatever he likes. for most of us that probably flies under the radar because of his clothings fantasy stylization, but i really like that detail and i think its awesome that yamazaki continued it here. lindel in modern clothing is still clearly wearing womens clothing and im obsessed with how yamazaki presents it as a nothingburger. whos gonna check him? nobody
I think there should be a shopping montage with Lindel and Hilda because Lindel needs some modern outfits (he does wear one when Chise's visiting to make her staff, but maybe he doesn't have enough? Eh, don't think too much about the logic behind this one)
Like... Violet wearing dresses bothered the St. Georges enough to pressure Jasmine into acting more masculine, and we don't yet know Hilda's stance about the matter.
And then there's this ancient magus with her who hasn't given a fuck about gender presentation since the day he was born. It's hilarious, actually.
reminder that lindel in a suit exists
uhhm i have no idea how this app works but I'm trying to post on here too since I have low views on twt :(
