Dimensional Reality Universe Identification System (D.R.U.ID.S)

Welcome to D.R.U.ID.S, aka the Dimensional Reality Universe Identification System, an experiment in universe and multiverse identification. Some of you may have noticed us reblogging some posts and assigning and ID to each. This is the start of our process of identifying and cataloguing universes throughout the Omniverse.

(Please note, any universes catalogued are not of significant importance unless stated otherwise. This is purely an experiment in multiversal identification. The IDs assigned are up to the original creators to ignore or embrace.)

Each universe ID can be broken up into three parts for ease of categorizing and search up in the system, here is how to make sense of the universe ID.

First part - Class. A letter abbreviation of two or more letters which denotes the story, franchise, or multiverse the universe is a part of. Ex: Undertale universes have a class of UT. Please refer to the cataloged for universes which might share an abbreviation (ie Deltarune and Dangaronpa both being able to be abbreviated as DR)

Second part - Type. A three digit number which denotes the type of universe. Ie; prime, role-swap, edgy/fell, etc. Ex: Prime universes have the type 317. Swap AUs (alternate universes) have multiple types depending on the type of swap. Role Swap A (in which personalities are swapped along with roles) is type ID 713. Role Swap B (in which personalities stay the same and only roles and situations are swapped) is type ID 137

Third part - line/subtype. A four digit number which further denotes the specific universe. This number is often randomized, but may also relate to a significant number or date related to the universe, such as it's creation. Ex: the line/subtype of the main Marvel comic's universe is 0616, as that universe is known as Earth-616 within that Multiverse.

Once combined, the full ID tells you all you the base information you need to know about a given universe. For example, Undertale-ish, an AU of Undertale we've been keeping a close eye on has the ID of UT-514_9198, so you can tell it's an Undertale universe from it's class, the type tells that it's a crossover of related franchises (in this case, Undertale and Deltarune), and it's line/subtype tells us that is it is specifically the universe known as Undertale-ish.

This system/catalogue is not yet complete, and we do not claim it to be full-proof or gain wide spread notoriety. We are simply using it to identify universes we come across and hope it might be of some use to others. We will attempt to compile our current catalogue soon and link it here. If you have any suggestions, questions, or comments about this system, please submit them to our ask box and we will try our best to answer in due time.

Other amalgams of abandoned creations? There's plenty of Lost that become shambling amalgams, but not in the same way as us.

Other abandoned creations of Mother. Plenty. That's how we came to be.

Other amalgams of abandoned creations specifically made by some version of Petra.

No.

For we are the only true "Echo" of Mother. All versions of Petra are still Mother. They're all just... vessels for her. Personas. Masks she puts on.

Though there may be other alternate realities with alternate versions of her, the real Mother... We don't know of them. It's likely those Mothers never abandoned us. Or never picked up a pencil to begin with.

The multiverse is strange that way, isn't it?

Why do I feel like the meme machine is Memelord Sans on steroids?

We... suppose?

Meme Machine is the embodiment of humor. They take a form relevant to the current humor zeitgeist in Reality. Usually a teenager.

Right now their form looks like a "trendy" Gen Alpha teenager (that feels like an incompatible phrase...) who carries around an IPad and practically speaks in "brainrot" and other Gen Alpha slang.

It feels like honestly not that long ago they referenced Gen Z memes... we know Time doesn't work in the Void but when did Gen Alpha get old enough to be teenagers and take over the modern meme culture?

Wow, The way you put it, I feel like us askers reeeally lucked out with Angel in that one universe. They seemed pretty chill. They even thanked us when we successfully thwarted the assassination attempt.

Trying to avoid getting back on topics that would confuse Lake, Alistair is putting images in the posts along with a short explanation of who they are of.....Voyager sounds like someone literally every Jevil variant ever would either get along with or consider their rival in the art of chaos. In Al's words they are: "A little bitch who likes to annoy Void Master with its existence and chaotic mischief"

Out of curiosity, what void entities have you guys met that were just totally nice?

Voyager, the embodiment of Space itself and part of the Council. True form is clouds of matter and gas, which typically inhabit its astronaut suit.

I am half "Bro, I was kidding. did you actually see Cthulu in a jesus costume??" and half "I should not be surprised about that."

Infinite parallel universes, infinite possibilities, and always a non-zero chance of seeing Cthulu in a jesus costume.

"I know I've grown desensitized to a lot of the Void Entities and Lost out in the Greater Void but every know and again there's still something that makes me raise an eyebrow or two."

We do not know what purpose the "Jesus Cthulu" serves in the Committee, but here's some other Committee members.

Minister of Heat and Minister of Cold. Heads of the Department of Heat and Cold. In charge of controlling the temperature of the Multiverse but primarily the Multiversal Market.

Heat Min'ster is overworked to the point they sometimes combust into flames like a phoenix, and Cold Min'ster likes to watch holiday movies at their desk as they only really have one street in the Market they oversee.

For those wondering what Percie and Messi look like, as is the case with most Committee Members and powerful Void entities, their true forms are eldritch and would break your mind.

Clayton: Don't listen to AJ. They're referencing one of Mom's projects. Fool's Fate. Kris tried to break that prophecy and it ended up trying again with Chicago. ------------- Ooooh, that makes much more sense Clayton. I just thought they were telling me that Fate might've been playing us or something.

But yeah, getting off prophecies for now, Lake asks a good question who is Percy? From what you said earlier, sounds like he's a void-entity expert.

"What about like, normal Lost?"

"That'd fall under Messi's purview. They head the Department of the Lost. That's the one that deals with the regular lost that ain't causin a ruckus for the Committee or Council or ya know... disruptin the fabric of space time an what not."

"Man, what kinda name is 'Messy'?"

"Hey know, it's Mess-eye. I think it's short for Messiah? From what I know they were once a prophet or messiah of some sort that was long forgotten by the time their world was destroyed."

"So like... Jesus?"

"Kinda? They don't really remember much of the religion they were a prophet for, but they do get that a lot."

AJ: Prophecy oh Prophecy. Strings of fate their words do weave Though the strings 1 tries unspool One only ends up the fated of fools. ------------- I mean, I know if we handle it any other way, it'd be a war of attrition against one very pissed off prophecy. Even with the help of another prophecy, no point poking the void bear if we don't want to. Feels problem with the solution being "work smarter, not harder." know what I mean?

Buuuut, Lake does have a point, we did get off track with the talk of prophecies.

I do think we can solve this whole thing though. And even Angel hopes we succeed with it. Way I see it, the problem isn't Fate getting fulfilled, the problem is that they think the way to do it is to set people up to die. So if we find the words of Fate, we can come up with our own non-murdery, non-apocalyptic way to fulfill it. and if we do that, Fate won't need to start shit anymore. Problem solved! Everybody wins!

I mean, if I was doing a frustrating task and then someone just popped up and did all my work for me so I wouldn't have to frustrate myself. I certainly wouldn't complain. I doubt a prophecy would either.

"Yeah. I don't know a whole lot about Prophecies but I do know their purpose is generally to be fulfilled."

"Even if they ain't fulfilled, they'll keep tryin. I've heard a few examples about the lengths they'll go to ta achieve fulfillment. (Mostly with the ones that Percie has to deal with...)"

Hazel: prophecies are fun void entities :) ------- To summarize as best I can: That Maverick guy I mentioned, by preventing the chain of events that would've ended the world, he royally pissed off a prophecy calling itself Fate by preventing them from fulfilling itself. Fate orchestrated an assassination attempt on him. Thanks to the help the help of Angel, a fulfilled prophecy you might like Hazel, Maverick is currently getting surgery to remove a bullet that's killing him. now we're trying to get the assassins arrested. Here's hoping we do. Because I think the guy that shot Maverick is also the one who murdered a kid's parents, I don't want him making anymore kids into orphans.

Caaaan't exactly argue with you there, Lake. Especially since some askers and I are currently playing a very high-stakes game of cosmic chess against a void entity called a prophecy that's trying to create an apocalypse in a world. And we're doing this with the help of another prophecy. It is......a loooooong story.

"Hmm... Oh, I think I heard of those! Though entities like that usually fall under Artie's or Percie's departments. (Depending on if their threatening the Void or not...)"

Holy shit Mike, you did NOT hold back. like at all. You really went off on his ass while yeeting those rocks at his face. whether the viewers know he's a homophobic tool or not, at least everyone still saw that he was a tool. I seriously doubt anyone likes working for a shitty boss either. I imagine any viewers that were in a similar position at least once thought of doing what you did. Everyone knows bigotry isn't cool. I mean, ideally, everyone should know that but I like to think most people know that.

Lake, I don't think it's that simple.

Sometimes there are crappy people you need to stay away from, especially if they're family.

If you ask me, someone who leaves his family to fend for themselves, isn't someone who's worth the love you give him. I don't know Roger well enough to judge him, but if he just strolled on in, married your mom and just demanded you treat him like a dad without even trying to earn your trust or get to know you or hang out with you like a dad should? Then he sucks too. Screw that guy!

A true family isn't one you're born with. A true family is one that loves and accepts you for who you are. And finally, a family doesn't have to be normal to be a good family.
