“Ain’t no time for this girl!” He snarled, dropping the deer carcass on the ground of the woods. He turned to look at her with a serious glare as Daryl cornered her against a tree, invading her personal space.

“Wake up kid! You got to prove yourself out there if you don’t want to die! Look, ain’t nobody here knew one another until the world ended. Rick made us stronger as a group cause he fought for us. Everyone has to fight to survive.” Daryl grunted, “Even you”

“Yeah well come on then! We ain’t gonna let Rick and ‘em starve!” Daryl hollered back to her without turning around or stopping.

“You go ahead, ill catch up later” Her voice was small but she still didnt feel like part of the group. “If Rick asks just tell him i need some away from everyone”

Daryl stopped suddenly and turned around, walking back to her. “What?” He snapped. “You got two deer than can feed the group and you just gonna isolate yourself like a sappy emo kid?!”

She smiled a bit “of course unlike you guys i know how to hunt” A small chuckle came from her. “I found more arrows for your crossbow”

“I know how to hunt!” Daryl snapped, standing up. “Been hunting since I was 5!” He gave a wave of his arm at the mention of arrows.
