it's hard to be autistic and internalize the shame and embarrassment of being cringe and having childish interests and hobbies but having other adults who (probably aren't?) autistic engage with you about your interests is awesome. it's one thing when it comes from other known autistic people who share those interests but it's another when it comes from allistics who are just happy you're happy. ykwim
