My sister flies into Vegas in a week. With how busy I’ve been since moving here I never did learn much of the places worth visiting. Any recommendations are appreciated. Truly. 

"well, depends on what you're wanting to do. there's attractions like the shark reef aquarium that's pretty cool, there's siegfried and roy's garden and dolphin habitat, there's a mob museum that's pretty cool, madame tussauds, monster museum, there's lots of escape rooms. there's the fly over las vegas simulation ride. the skip the line street rod museum is pretty cool, lots of classic street cars. there's actually a couple car museums that are really neat if you're into the older classics. ghosts of las vegas walking tour, there's a few comedy clubs. hard rock cafe is definitely my favorite place to eat, so you could always check that out. the bodies exhibition is really cool. there's so many things to do."

echo knew the bar would be closing soon - so as soon as the doors closed to patrons coming in, she made her way to her former stomping grounds - where she still makes herself at home. she walked behind the bar and started mixing up her favorite drink - the magical mermaid cocktail that she'd served many times in the past. moving around like she owned the place - which, she practically lived here every night back when she was one of the favored bartenders - she put what she used back up and held the glass up to inspect it. "hello, beautiful. i've missed you," she said before taking a sip through her straw and immediately noticing the other, which made her flinch. "jesus christ, my heart just stopped," she said, a hand placed on her chest. "have you been there this whole time?" she asked. @mwellrp​

Avril: thats… odd especially if everything was going great and it’s just weird to not give a reason. I’m sorry about that Echo, I get you miss him, really I do and as hard as it is, it will get better easier. If there was something I could do to help I would. All I can say is that I’m always here for you when you need it. Maybe you can ask him? But hun I really don’t think it’s you, I don’t think you did anything wrong.

echo: part of me thinks it’s his family... and i get it. i get how dangerous it is to be involved with the enemy. but we were different. we made it happen, we made it work, we made a baby, a little family of our own... and now it’s just ripped apart. sometimes he won’t even take her for his days if his family’s in town. and i know it’s just to protect her, but it hurts that he chooses them over her. i know family is family, but that’s the point. your kids come first. i’ve turned my dad down so many times because i put tabby first. it just hurts that he puts her second. and me. and i can’t even tell him that i want him to come back because then it makes me sound weak and like i can’t function without him, but i was so much better with him than i am without him.

Because these girls could just be friends and not more than that and it’s the same as complaining about a friend coming over? Hun it’s not the same, it’s different. I do know what it’s like to still be in love with someone and it’s hard… I wish I could help.

echo: i don’t get it either. i just... miss him. i don’t even know what happened, where we went wrong. everything was great, he was so excited about being a dad, we were raising her together... and one day he said he couldn’t be in a relationship anymore but said there was no reason, he just couldn’t do it. i just wanna know what i did wrong so i can fix it and maybe he’d come back

Avril: ah, probably shouldn’t have assumed but still he’s a friend. Like you said as long as they treat her right that’s all that matters. He has no right to be mad over you having a friend over despite not knowing them when he does the exact same thing. It is bullshit and you should tell him so too!

echo: oh i’ve told him before. he’s also never met my babysitter but he’s okay with that?? my sitter is a guy too but he’s perfectly fine with him watching her. i’ve thrown it in his face several times that until he signs the birth certificate, he doesn’t get to throw a bitch fit. and what pisses me off the most is that i’m still in love with him and i don’t want him seeing other girls but if i told him how i feel he’d just say i’m the hypocrite and he’s not really wrong

echo: well this friend is a guy, but he really is just a friend. and i’ve personally never had a problem with his girlfriends being around the baby as long as they treat her right. but he’s not allowed to get mad that i have a friend over he’s never met when i’ve never met his friends and he has them over when he has tabby. it’s bullshit.

echo: my ex is mad because i had a friend over the other day and he doesn’t know them. he doesn’t want tabby around people he doesn’t know - but he brings around his girlfriends when he has her even though i don’t know them
