The thought of running away again is there.
“...”
“Hm.” Their hair got messy, what a shame. It was easy enough to disguise fixing it as petting the demon, so there wasn’t any trouble there. “Another thing…This stays between us. If you involve anyone else, especially Sin, you’re going home in more than one box.”
She was...petting them? Was she deliberately trying to treat them like some kind of animal? What an outrage. An outrage they can’t really do anything about. There’s a grumble in their throat, orange eyes staying fixed on the lady devil. She was going to be insistent on this wasn’t she?
“Testing me won’t get you closer to home.” Seeing as the demon wanted to play smart with her, one of the shadowy hands shot out and grabbed them by the head, forcing their face into the blankets. “Right now, I own you. There’s no mother to intervene, there’s no ‘shitbag’ to stop me. If you please me, I’ll reward you and if you agitate me I can promise the punishment will be anything but enjoyable.”
“Tch—!” Their tongue clicks once more and there’s a surprised yelp when that shadow hand is back again and forcing the demon down onto the bed. Orange eyes glare up at the devil, their ears perked as they shift their head slightly (or try to) to press their cheek on the covers. Own them? They’re not some kind of toy or pet, just what the hell was she planning on doing?
An animal that clearly wasn’t conditioned at all. Really, Satanick, were you expecting the child to be good without discipline? A sigh left the devil, with a snap of her fingers there was a glint of light that shot past the demon and slammed against the headboard with a resounding metallic THUMP. The echo of the sword’s metal served a reminder, thanks to where it was, how close it came to slicing the other’s neck. “I hate repeating myself so… Do it.”
Was she trying to kill them? Their parent wouldn’t like that at all and neither would the shit bag. Their lips curl into a sneer, tongue clicking against their teeth. They didn’t want to be in this situation at all. They wanted to be at home with their mother, not doing...whatever the hell this is.
The most she’ll get out of them is the fact that they move their hands from their lap to press against the bed. Like how a dog sits with it’s paws in front of it’s hindquarters. Except it’s Licorice’s hands curled into fists pressed on the bed before their knees. That should count as all fours right?
Ah, so he wants to be meagerly rebellious. Two can play at that then. “Since you doesn’t seem to know how manners work, you must be some sort of animal. Animals don’t sit like that.” Her wings snapped shut, the tone of her voice just as flat as her expression. There was no telling where the devil was going with her words until she piped up again. “All fours.”
“You’ve got to be shitting.” She was pulling their leg right now wasn’t she? An animal. Do they look like an animal? No. They’re a demon. So of course they’re not going to get on all fours like they were told. They’re just going to tuck their legs back underneath them and put their hands in their lap. All while staring Reficul in the face.
“Hmm. Shoes off, you’re on someone’s bed.” This was going to take some time to do, but there’s nothing else that needs to be done. Well. Paperwork, but Izet can handle that. One of the shadow hands curls to the vanity in her room to pull the chair over for the devil to sit in, her hands fold on her knee as she crosses her legs. “Make sure to place them neatly on the floor at the foot of the bed.”
Like hell they’re going to obey that. They’re just going to use their feet to kick the shoes off onto the floor, not even bothering to reach down and set them neatly. There was no point in that and Licorice wasn’t about to do something so trivial either.
“Until you can obey me obediently, you’re not going home.” Her arms crossed under her chest, but her dull expression didn’t change at all. It hadn’t since the beginning of their little fun time. “On the bed.”
There’s a growl in Licorice’s throat at the order and part of them wants to say no. Another part of them, however, says to obey because they’re not sure what she’s capable of and it’s better to listen. The demon won’t drop their guard but they will climb onto the bed, tucking their legs underneath them to sit up and stare at the lady devil.
“...”
“Hmm. This isn’t a good place to temper you… How unfortunate, I wanted to continue my walk. Oh well.” Her foot alleviates from Licorice’s head, not out of pity mind you but because she tore open a portal leading to her room and hurled the demon through it. If he attacked, it wouldn’t end well on his part for sure. So she stepped through as well and sealed the rift shut.
“Oi!” They didn’t exactly appreciate being thrown again. Just what did they look like a hacky sack? They didn’t exactly appreciate the place they landed in either. A bedroom? Was it her’s? That was probably the only logical explanation, which makes the demon look at her, ears perked up and eyes narrowed.
What was she planning?
“You’re making me repeat myself. It’s annoying.” Her heel presses down significantly more like she had forgotten her own strength. On purpose. Hiss and snarl all you want Licorice, Reficul doesn’t seem like she’ll be letting you up anytime soon. “You have as much authority over me as that thing. Engrave those words in your mind, preferably before my foot embeds itself in it.”
There’s a yelp from the demon, their body tensing up from the added pressure. That hurt, it really hurt and it makes them stop moving. Surely if they had even continued to struggle the heel would’ve pierced their skull and...That’s not a thought they want to think about. Orange eyes glare up at the devil standing over top of them, a quiet growl in their throat.
They’re still not happy at all.
Her leg lifts and she pushes her heel down on Licorice’s head none too gently at all and not caring if the demon got an eyeful. They were being a pain in the rear and it’s best to keep them completely immobile. “I only refrained because your father told me not to mess with you. But this… Hmm. You’re not a small child anymore. So I don’t have to treat you like one- I can treat you just like I did your mother.”
The heel the presses onto their head hurts, considering the pressure as well as the blunt edge of it. Sure, they did get a wonderful sight but that didn’t matter to them when they wanted to get free and give the lady devil a good ol’ one two. A snarl leaves them, sharp teeth being bared once more when they hiss at Reficul’s words. That just makes them want to struggle harder to get free.
“Don’t you fucking dare.”
“A family of idiots…” Too bad, she’s not going to give him the time to put those thoughts into action. The hand flattens down on the demon in hopes to pin them to the ground and she’s taking her time strolling over. “You have about as much authority over me as that thing.”
Oh, if you think they’re not going to struggle, they’re definitely going to struggle. Blinded in rage, no focus on anything, they’re like a rabbit caught in a trap wanting to escape and be free. Well, more like a dog in a cage, fighting and spitting to get loose from its binds and in this case it’s that hand that holds them down.
kid, holy fuck
They don’t call me a trip for nothin’
