Went for blood work again today. Hoping this is the last time. It’s so painful everytime I have to go into that office. Pregnant people everywhere and my dreams slowly dying in me. Let’s hope this is the last of it.

Having a sad day today

I think about you every day, but sometimes it hurts my heart a little more than others. Today is one of those days, you would have been on this earth for about 1 month already. I wonder all the time if you are a boy or a girl, I can't wait to meet you one day my little one. I love you.

I wish people would

Stop calling my ectopic pregnancy an abortion. I didn’t want to terminate my pregnancy. I didn’t want my baby to die. If I didn’t have the surgery, I would have died and not been able to carry the baby to term anyway. I guess I’m just having a hard time. I was supposed to be due in March.

A girl on facebook was saying she is having low HCG levels and brown spotting so I told her to watch out for cramping on one side because those are signs of ectopic.

She asked what ectopic was and someone else told her and I told her that if it’s caught early enough they can usually give you a shot instead of performing surgery.

Someone literally commented that that is like having an abortion. WTF. 

Isn’t that rude?

5 Things You Should Never Say to a Woman Who Just Had a Miscarriage

So I recently lost my baby during my pregnancy. A lot of people have tried to console me, but some of them just made me feel even worse. A miscarriage is a very upsetting and painful experience, please think about what you say to a woman after she has had one.

1. “Don’t worry, you can always have another baby. “

Yes. I realize this. But I wanted the one I already had. And you saying this right after I told you I lost the baby isn’t very comforting. It’s not like my hermit crab just died.

2. “Do you think you did something to make the baby miscarry?”

Really?

3. “At least you don’t have to worry about ruining your life now. ”

While my pregnancy was not planned, the baby would have in no way ruined my life, we were excited to have our baby.

4. “I know exactly how you feel. “

Unless you’re either a mom yourself, or or someone who’s also had a miscarriage, you have no idea. I’ve never felt this sad about anything in my life.

5. Anything starting with the words, “I know this may not be something you want to hear, but…”

EXACTLY. So don’t talk to me about it right now. At least wait until I’ve had time to heal. I can’t even cut off my hospital bracelets yet because EVERYTIME I try I start bawling. So yes. I don’t want to hear it.
