Good time-of-day to you. I am Edelweiss, and I’m happy you’ve chosen to visit my blog. However you came across it, I am sure it was meant to be.

I made this blog in a spur of the moment decision, truthfully speaking, but also because I noticed my little sister has made a blog here as well. You can find her at @doctor-marocchino.

I am not sure what to expect of this website, but I ask that you don’t get too vulgar with me.

- edelweiss’ father is indeed dio! you should talk to him about that. he knew him. he thinks very highly of him, even though he knows what kind of person he was.

- edelweiss is a lot kinder than his manner of speech and behaviour would suggest. don’t be afraid to ask him things.

- edelweiss owns a restaurant, and he’s the head chef! his sous chef is santana— yes, that santana!

- edelweiss is afraid of jotaro but actually close friends with jolyne. may or may not have lead to the events of part 6 not carrying out properly in his universe. may or may not be why he’s an EX lawyer now.

- edelweiss is not close with his mother(amaryllis)and was outright abandoned by her. edelweiss IS however very protective of and close with his younger sister, marocchino.

Did anyone famous ever visit your restaurant? Like some sort of celebrity?

A few! Most of them never care to tip well, so I can’t be bothered to remember their names.

Oh, Guy Fieri visited once. He was rather friendly, but he didn’t tip. I hope he never returns.

Rohan Kishibe has visited before as well. He’s rather… eccentric, but I had a nice talk with him. It’s not every day someone popular visits my establishment looking for me, you know?

Did you had to throw out customer out of your establishment, for any reason?

Oh… yes, actually. Giorno. Giorno Giovanna. I’m sure you’ve heard of him… everyone has, anymore.

Neither him nor any of his colleagues are allowed anywhere near my establishment, but especially not him.

As for why… I prefer not to talk about it to those I don’t know.

There was a horrible accident not too far from my restaurant… it hindered business here last night, and as disappointing as making less money is, I do hope everyone involved is okay.

Apparently, Marocchino's uncle is coming to visit.

Getting time off will be no issue, I own my job, after all... but I will certainly have to make double the desserts I usually do for my guests, if the two of them visit my home.

Secco is... well, you can certainly tell how and why Marocchino developed such a sweet tooth!

What type of restaurant do you run? Any dish you consider your speciality? I have an anniversary coming and wished to take my other half to some new place for this occasion.

I consider myself one of the best chefs when it comes to Italian cuisine. ...Of course, as what would usually be expected from an Italian restaurant located in the United States, fettuccine alfredo is the most popular... but my specialty dish is bìgoli in salsa.

Do try to book a reservation if you plan on dining with us, dinner is when Caffè Ortensia is at its busiest... and I do assume you'd be taking your other half out to dinner. I am always delighted to host anyone who wishes to eat at my establishment, and that includes you and your other half.

My dear sister offered to prepare the dessert of the day at my restaurant. I am baffled as to how she was able to get enough time off for that as a doctor, but I nonetheless happily accepted.
