Sorry about this long doodle dump of some ideas about the backstory for the crime au thing I made a bit ago. In all honesty it’s more a crossover with the book series Six of Crows, it’s lowkey such a good book I highly recommend.

Mechanical Redux

Chapter 1: Hello World.

Hi everyone! This is a DCA fic I've been writing for awhile now set in a Cyberpunk AU! I hope you enjoy!

Summary:

“Hey, you! Yes, you there! Are you tired of spending your lonely days by yourself in your pristine mansion surrounded by human servants with the personality of a cardboard box? Do you have no friends or need help crossing the busy streets? Well, what you need is a Fazware animatronic! The only officially licensed company able to sell Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, and more! Don’t bother with those knockoff brands like JollyBot or Your Friend Bot! You can have Freddy cook you a homemade meal or Foxy as your personal bodyguard. You have a need, we got the bot for you!”

You look away from the commercial playing on the large holographic screen. Hover cars zip past and ads for the newest human enhancements play out their jingles as you continue walking down the street. You slip on headphones while pulling out the Walkman from your jacket. Don’t these companies have anything better to do than keep pumping out these cheesy ads? Then again, said companies are the ones funding your career as a mechanic. When anything breaks, whether it's an animatronic, android, or even a part of a cyborg, you fix it. Your eyes wander over to a boy chatting animatedly as he holds the hand of a Freddy animatronic.
