#backtolosbanos #flashback It was a pleasant surprise to discover in a serendipitous manner that baseball is still alive in Los Baños. I used to play for the UPLB varsity baseball team and trained at the Freedom Park. Soon after I left the team, one of my former teammates hit a foul ball and it crashed on the windshield of a passing car. There was a fundraiser held to cover damages even though it was an accident. Now, the diamond is at a field adjacent to the College of Veterinary Medicine which has less vehicular traffic. They even have a bullpen! (I was hit on the jaw by a flying bat after a teammate threw it to the sidelines after a hit.) #oldschool #newschool #collegememories #elbi

Now, there's a very popular albeit slightly pricy dining place called Seoul Kitchen. The food is good, though. And for a few minutes, I went across the street to say hi to my second family in Los Baños, the lovely Adallas. They were our caterer for the Discovery Camp that several hundred CWS cadets under the NSTP attended. One of our friends (@alekoskabir) is a vegetarian and had to have a special meal delivered to him. After a long time, they brought a fish dish thinking that was vegetarian.
