Pairing: Arondir x Fem reader

Description: After getting separated you reunite with Arondir when you save Bronwyn and Theo

Everything was chaos with ash and fire as you along with other people from your village of Tirharad tried to find a safe place but you by this point were in a blur trying to stay alive after you had been separated from Arondir while trying to help people and find your friend Bronwyn and her son Theo in midst of the chaos from Sauron conquering over Middle earth leading to you passing out from exhaustion, smoke inhalation, and the adrenaline of your fight or flight being in overdrive. The first thing you saw when you came to was lights on the ceiling which were candle flames before slowly turning your head to see Bronwyn on the other table in a blanket clearly asleep or unconscious then you saw Theo as he sat beside her quiet staring at the fire before feeling a gentle touch on your hand making you turn to see arondir above you no words being said before he tilted your head up and had you sip on tea confused when arondir shook his head when you tried to lean up more, a few minutes later you not only saw the bandage around your waist and chest along with the cuts and the shock of finding out that he had to amputate a bit of your leg from the foot up ending with a few inches left under the knee leading to you quietly crying in his arms from everything over the last few hours reacting without thinking first hugging bronwyn then theo tightly before they went off helping others around them. Once they were gone you leaned up with as much strength and energy as you could before emotionally and tenderly kissing arondir which definitely caught him off guard before melting into it gently cradling your face between his hands before simply holding each other like you'd each disappear and finding comfort but peace together in each other despite the hell over the last few hours and the chaos still growing or happening around them but also all around middle earth, "I'm awake and I'm alive" the words weren't just a reminder to yourself as a way to ground yourself but to also remind and ground arondir as the two of you set by the fire slowly dozing off until you went out in his arms being held in a way you never were before and showing how far and how the bond between the two of you had grown then bloomed into something more and tender since the two of you met weeks back.
