Well, got the right place for you.
It’s called Filling Station Bar and Cafe, located at 5012 P. Burgos St., Brgy. Poblacion in Makati City.
You might actually think that the name refers to a gas station when you first hear it. But it’s actually a 50’s type diner that’s open to serve for 24 hours.
History as per website:
“The restaurant is the brainchild of an ex-US navy chief cook who decided not to move back to the US when the base contract was not renewed. He resolved to put up a place similar to the diners in the 50’s in the United States complete with posters from that era, an oil barrel, and 50’s type working telephones, 50’s type radios, television sets and movies.”
They have a wide variety menu that you can choose from. And by the way, dishes were named after oil companies, cars etc., that made it more interesting.
They have the usual burgers, pizza, steak, and pasta.
They are also offering all -time favorite Filipino dishes like sinigang, pancit, crispy pata and a lot more!
We ordered rice meals cause we’re very hungry when we arrived. Not to forget that we also tried their milkshake which I loved the most. Food might be a little pricey tho. But in the other hand it tastes good and they also give big servings.
Also, to think that they are trying to maintain everything working and to look great as it is. The price is absolutely reasonable.

In summary, we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the place and also they have the nicest crew. We are definitely recommending it to everyone!
