Trailer for the Batgirl DLC for Arkham Knight. I just did some support for this one and some minor cinematic setup. It was a fun project to work on!
This is a video of a Scripted Event for Deus Ex Human Revolution that was showcased during E3 and Gamescon.
This was a custom Scripted Event made especially for demo purposes; it eventually made it into the game except there was no camera cuts when the Boxguard crashed through the skylight.
This is an old video I made to show off the Punch Through Walls augmentation in Deus Ex Human Revolution.
I worked on this system along a team of programmers, animators and game designers. I helped setup the system so other Level Designers could simply plug the system into any wall in their levels with little setup required on their part.
Very proud to have worked on this! I can't wait for everyone to checked out what the team accomplished with this one!
These are some marketing shots I helped assemble for the launch of Batman Arkham Origins: Cold Cold Heart DLC.
Batman Arkham Origins Intro Cinematic
Batman Arkham Origins Joker Reveal Cutscene and Scripted Event transition after the cinematic.
This was the most challenging cinematic I worked on in the game. This was also the longest cinematic in the game and it had the highest amount of shots in any of the scenes we produced.
In addition to this, it had a high number of characters, props and state changes for Batman and the Joker. The scene also had to transition smoothly from gameplay to the cinematic which took a lot of effort and coordination with several teams, but it worked out perfectly in the final version.
It definitely was one of the more difficult cinematics to produce due to the scope and the importance of this scene in the game since it is the big plot twist in the story, yet it was one of the most satisfactory ones to work on. It was very special to see the final version of this cinematic.
Batman Arkham Origins: Repairing the Bat Computer and Saving Alfred Cinematic Part 1 and 2.
Batman Arkham Origins: Copperhead Boss fight Cinematics, Scripted Events and Quick Time Event in the Hallway.
This was one of the most challenging sections of the game to work on. This section starts with a cinematic that is followed by a Quick TIme Event. Once completed the player had to guide Batman whose been poisoned and hallucinating back through the level to confront Copperhead.
In this section I worked on integrating the cinematic and the Quick Time Events right after the first cinematic and the Event that takes place in the narrow hallway before taking the elevator.
I also setup the Dead Bank Manager in the elevator on the way up as well as Alfred and the Comissioner in the hallway and all of the cinematics that play before, during and after the bossfight with Copperhead.
It was a fun challenge to take on and it was very rewarding in the end to work on what became one of my favorite parts of the game.
Cartoon Universe "Cheese Mines"
Worked on both cutscenes and the Hop for the Best minigame level.
Cartoon Universe "Cheese Mines"
One of the levels I worked on and designed for Cartoon Universe.
I also designed level shown on the minigame "Parsec Post".
Deus Ex Human Revolution Opening Walk and Talk plus scripted events in Gameplay sections.
This intro sequence proved to be quite the challenge in integrating all of the scripted events in the intro in the lab and the following gameplay sections. The intro had to load in from the intro cinematic and take the player through the lab, elevator and Sarif's office followed by the first level of the game.
This posed a big technical challenge at the time since the player had to traverse and load several levels which were massive in size and took a while to load. This was solved by pre loading the levels when a cinematic would play or the player was not moving. After a lot of hard work an collaborating with multiple colleagues we finally got every piece of the intro to the game running and working an a lot of fun to play.
