The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made Aadhaar Card mandatory in order to write National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2017.
With the forthcoming elections, students in Karnataka will now need Aadhaar card to appear for NEET 2017. As the stir has been acknowledged by colleges in the city, some colleges have also affirmed a holiday for students to apply for Aadhaar Cards if they do not have it.
The NEET is mandatory to take admissions to any MBBS/BDS courses in India in medical or dental colleges which have the consent of the Medical Council of India (MCI) or Dental Council of India (DCI).
