The yard is mostly done. I didn’t do any of the edging or weeding. I didn’t move any of the pavers or furniture or anything….it looks like shit but it doesn’t look abandoned anymore so that’s something. I guess

Here I sit, observing, surveying the yard I mowed last night that I have to mow again tonight because I’m anal (not the good way) about it and these are the first two consecutive days of no rain and no plans I’ve had since before my vacation 🫠

I neglected my yardwork again over the weekend. In my defense is was extremely wet and overcast though I probably could’ve done some yesterday.

Instead I chose to go to the movies three times.

1) Friday one of my friends texted the group saying, “…….I’ve had a crappy day and think I just need to get out the house so I think I’m gonna go tonight…..if anyone wants to come then to I’d love the company :)” so naturally we joined her for Backrooms. It was so weird. Felt like I was tripping balls, even though I wasn’t. 😵‍💫 6.5/10

2) Mandalorian and Grogu with a couple friends who i always see Star Wars movies with. As predicted it was no Rogue One but better than any of the movies since the prequel trilogy. 6.5/10

3) Obsession. Some of our group had seen it while I was at the beach and said it was great. IMDb gave it 8.2. Saw it yesterday and while the lead actress was very good and the jump scares were impressive, i dunno if I’d go that high. Had some plot holes that were probably left on the cutting room floor. 6.5/10

Also I’ve discovered a new book series. I’ve devoured the first one so that took a bit of time as well. The Will Trent series by Karin Slaughter. I’ve been watching the show for three years but hadn’t read any of the books till now.

This evening me will deal with the yard after work. Tomorrow evening me will probably also do that, just so Saturday me doesn’t have to spend 9 hours out there. 🤷🏼‍♀️
