Edwardian Fashion: Hobble Skirt

Seen here in this color art print from 1913, the Hobble skirt consisted of a long skirt with a narrow hem. It made walking incredibly difficult and was so called 'Hobble' for this reason. Popular during the later half of the Edwardian era, its popularity peaked from 1908-1913

✨Temporary Hiatus✨

Hi all! As some of you may have noticed I’ve become a little.. inactive lately. I haven’t really been posting regularly since October and I’m probably not going to resume regular posting anytime soon.
